I purchased this hair dye from my local Cub foods in the beauty/self care section earlier this month in shade # RR04 'Intense Dark Red'. Overall, this is a nice hair color product that is gentle, non abrasive and non drying to my hair, and one that I feel distributed color well and evenly to my hair. The price point is average for a product of this type, so I would consider the price point to be ok though not exceptional for this type of item. However I this case, that turned out not to bee to much of an issue for me, as I actually happened to like the color it turned out being even though it was unexpected for me. The main problem I have with this hair dye is that the lasting power of this dye I could really only describe as so so, seeing as how for me, it faded down in tone pretty substantially within only a couple weeks or so. Overall this is a product I would somewhat, but not fully, recommend to others looking to self dye their hair at home.

Terrible. Never againI applied a tiny micro dab only and it's sufficient to cover your entire face. The consistency of this cream is not moisturising as it's very thick and doesnt glide onto the skin smoothly. Hence, it leaves a greasy sticky uncomfortable feeling after application. At first glance your skin looks vibrant n youthful. However as the cream is so thick, it made my skin very itchy. And as the cream sunk into my skin, on the following day it left my face with red patches like a rash. Not good.

I’ve used the version of this moisturiser with the black lid for years, extremely nourishing without being too heavy, fragrance free with a good spf. Perfect.Now Olay have decided to take the spf out of the fragrance free one, and given us this new fragranced product which isn’t a patch on the seemingly discontinued version. It doesn’t settle into the skin as well and feels greasy.The consumer team may well advise me that I need a lighter product, but I know what I need, and it’s the old formula with the spf! Why on earth change something that’s so good? I’m sure many loyal customers feel the same as me.

The original product, 7signs SPF 15 and Night cream with the black lid was my absolute favourite for over 10 years and the only face cream I could use which didn’t make my eyes sting and glided so well on my skin. It moisturised so well and had a great fragrance.Unfortunately, the new 7in one cream in the new white bottle is so disappointing - it leaves a sticky residue, like suncream does and does not blend well and sits on the skin rather than blend in. It also doesn’t work well with foundation and almost works against it. There is no pleasant smell.There is nothing positive I can say about this change. I love the L’Oréal Paris Superior preference hair color. I used the black color, which was not listed. I have a few greys, and they were totally colored. The scent is pleasant while you’re coloring your hair, so it doesn’t burn your nose or eyes. My hair comes out shiny and smooth, though I have naturally curly, course textured, long hair. I have to use two boxes to completely cover my hair when I go too long without coloring, but I usually go 6 months or longer. My hair is naturally dark to light brown, with red highlights in the summertime, and the black is a true black with the color on the box similar to the one I received.

As you can see by my picture, I never want to run out of my Olay Total Effects 7 in One Moisturizer. I have one with just the moisturizer for my casual days when I don't need a full make-up regimen, and one w/foundation for work or social events. With the moisturizer alone, I just apply a little blush and head out the door. My skin is protected by the SPF sunscreen, and also provides vitamins and antioxidents. No matter which one I'm using, my skin always looks great! I have very few wrinkles and I just turned 71 years young. I attribute that feat to using Olay products for many years. It hydrates, firms, evens out any imperfections and just brightens your face all around. So many great things tosay about this product. It has been very good to me.

Best moisturizer!

I have been using this for at least 12 years. I put it in after I wash my face, and I instantly feel relief from my tightening skin. I am 60 years old and really don't have any deep wrinkles. I also use it on my neck. I like the fragrance free, because I am very sensitive to perfumes. You only need a small amount to cover your face. I've tried other moisturizers, but none that compare. It's not greasy, and my skin feels supple. I just put on a light mineral powder after applying it, and my skin feels hydrated and breathable.

Confused

I'm 60 with very sensitive skin, Ive been using the fragrance free total effect for years and never had a problem with this moisture. This last purchase since using has caused irritation and breakouts, this has never happened before. Did they change the fragrance free formula? I am so confused there is no other moisturizer I can use that doesnt cause irritation. The only store that is available to me is walmart and this is where I purchased it. I don't think this would make a difference. Please bring the old formula back.

I should have never stopped using this!

I never had a line or wrinkle, not even a crow's feet mark at all until I was 49 because I used this since my 20s. People used to marvel at how my skin looked so young. Then, I stopped going to the store during the pandemic and I finally just began using the so-called high end brands coming in my subscription boxes as it was just easier at the time. What a mistake. Within a year I can totally see the difference. It's like day and night. I'm going back to Olay and I will never change again for as long as I live! If you're young, do yourself a favor and stick with what you know works. I am kicking myself now for stopping using my Olay Total Effects. It works, doesn't break me out, prevents ageing in one easy step.

I no longer work for a skincare line, so it wasn't until the past couple of years that I began hearing about the benefits of niacinamide. It reduces and refines pores, improves skin texture, evens out skin-tone and helps skin stay hydrated and supple. So I started seeking it out in my skincare products. Now it's once again my go-to daily moisturizer. (When I know I'll be outside or driving, I apply a higher SPF sunscreen over the Total Effects, but otherwise, I just use it alone, applied over a vitamin C serum.) To sum it up, Olay Total effects moisturizer provides great results at a reasonable price.
