Old El Paso Enchilada Cooking Sauce Mild 375g

I have used this enchilada sauce for more than 10 years. I put it on enchiladas that I make using meat and cheese. I have recently started using it in a new enchilada casserole and have found this to be a new dish that we are really enjoying. I would recommend this product because it’s already got all the spice you need in it.

I used the Old El Paso mild enchilada sauce for homemade enchiladas last night. This enchilada sauce is great for chicken or beef enchiladas. I’m sure it’s good for seafood and pork, I just haven’t done that yet (but plan on it in the future). The flavor is mild but has a slight kick to it (it’s by no means spicy). It’s very good, probably the best enchilada sauce that I’ve used before. The can is large and will be enough for a family to use. I will definitely repurchase it and I do recommend it to others!

This is my go to brand for enchilada sauce. I make chicken and/or beef enchiladas on a regular basis and this sauce has the perfect flavour to making a wonderful tasting dish. It comes in mild, medium and hot. We prefer the medium to give it a slight kick, without burning our mouths. I usually use about two cans so that the enchiladas arn’t too dry. I also like that this isn’t heavily spiced with overwhelming spices like cumin.

This is my families favorite enchilada sauce. Old El Paso Red Enchilada Sauce in hot has a balance of favor. The richness like the cooking took days to develop. In a stacked enchilada this is by far the best. The color will have you eating with your eyes, but the flavor is amazing. I recommend this product.

I am on the keto diet plan and this Old El Paso enchilada sauce is both low in calories and carbohydrates and delicious as well. It has a nice red color and makes the best enchilada topping ! It bakes well too when mixed with cheese. I like the thickness of the product-not real heavy on the tortilla or whatever dish you are creating. So easy to open and use. I would recommend this brand to anyone who is creating a Mexican meal.

Old ElPaso Red Enchilada Sauce is perfect in flavor. Taco meat, tortillas, sharp cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, black olives and enchilada sauce. Fill tortillas with taco meat add cheese and roll up, place in a baking pan, continue until all tortillas are used, pour 1 and 1/2 can of Enchilada sauce over top, add cheese to the top, bake for 15 to 20 minutes. Top with lettuce, tomatoes, black olives and sour cream. Serve with knorr’s Spanish rice. Perfect meal.

Contains 'bio-engineerd food product'. This isn't a paid review or promotion like the rest fake reviews. Just someone who likes enchilada's. Which you can't claim if you eat canned sauce but sometimes time and effort warrant it. Hatch is a much better red sauce (and green) than this and all natural. This sauce is very basic and bland without any complexity. Do yourself a favor and try a sauce with the renowned Hatch chili's and see for yourself which you prefer.

I liked this enchilada sauce! I think I prefer green enchilada sauce which is the reasoning for the four-star rating but that is just personal preference. For a red enchilada sauce, I thought it was very good though! I liked the size as I liked to have a little extra sauce compared to my usual 15 oz. can. I think the taste was flavorful and I don't have many complainants about it!

good enough on enchiladas for us. like any good sauce, this was good too. wrapped roasted chicken inside the good value low carb tortillas along with pepper jack cheese and lite sour cream and some chicken gravy seasoned with chilli powder, cumin and cilantro then poured a can of the sauce over all with a small bit more cheese, excellente'
