Auto-shut off is the biggest improvement. Hotter temps make this iron more effective. This was a warranty replacement. My old Oliso just did not produce any steam whatsoever. This new M3Pro version does with no issues. The small size is easy to handle especially when sitting at a work top. Full size irons are a bit clunky and I tended to burn myself more easily trying to work around mine.

Disappointing customer service and durability of the new M3Pro. I've been using the M2 for years and was excited to upgrade to the aqua M3Pro. After less than two months of using it, my M3Pro was bumped and took a short tumble, less than two feet. It immediately stopped working - this seems like a major design flaw if an $80 iron can't withstand a minor fall.I called customer support but they refused to give me the name of a repair source or work with me on an exchange. They offered a 20% discount to purchase a new iron but do not even have this item in stock at this time. All in all, a disappointing experience that will make me think twice about buying again from Oliso. They do not stand behind the quality and durability of their irons.

I love my Oliso iron! I saw it in practice at a conference called Craftcation this past April and I was blown away! I have carpal tunnel in both hands and was a bit worried that I would not be able to lift it or that it would be comfortable. Well, it is much lighter than I thought, and I am able to use it with ease! It warms up quickly, and I love the silicone holder. They also come in such bright, pretty colors that you can't help to be inspired! The representative there, Michele, was AWESOME! What a blessing that i stopped by the table to chat! Thank you so much!

Worst experience I have ever had purchasing a product. Arrived defective and after almost 2 months of ridiculous delays and hassle with Oliso itâs finally replaced. Not feeling confident about this purchase whatsoever. Terrible company to deal with. Unprofessional and non responsive. I have since discovered multiple complaints about service and product quality. Very disappointing for such an expensive item. Itâs unlikely to last a year.
What a wonderful little iron to use, especially when sitting down. It took me awhile to realise there was an on/off button which I only noticed when it wasn't hot.... Then the excitement of noticing it had a headlight, it was great using for fiddly and small block seams. Old habits do die hard, I always stand it on it's bottom rather than use the solemate. It's probably a good idea to read the instructions before use!! Would recommend this product if thinking of buying a new iron.
I was pleased with the heat this iron produced. It handles nice, and I like the soul plate. I can put it on when itâs hot. Iâm a quilter and use my mini iron regularly. Unfortunately, the steam either barely comes out or doesnât come out at all when I pushed the button if you donât push the button, there is no steam even if itâs on. Itâs comfortable on your hand however, itâs awkward when you push the button for the steam. I ended up buying a Conair mini iron which I love and was half the price. It Produces lots of steam and irons beautifully. I really wish the Oliso mini wouldâve worked for me as itâs very cute.
I have used the Oliso M3Pro to iron tiny fabric scraps for a ticker tape quilt and for FPP blocks. I have size 7 hands and this iron is a joy to use. I find the headlight quite useful and appreciate the auto shut-off feature. I haven't used the steam setting and probably won't, since I tend to use a spray mister and the dry iron setting instead. I have been curious about an Oliso iron for a while and I am pleased with this one. I hope this lasts a long time.

But in the last few years my aging back isnât happy hopping up and down to press my sewing as I workâŠ.so I decided it was time to have a small iron right next to my sewing machine to eliminate the âups and downsâ!! After doing some research I decided to try this mini Oliso (despite the fact that I really have never cared for their larger irons). I am sooo happy with it. Nice design and easy on the hands. Heats well and quickly and rests nicely on the silicone pad( which by the way will allow you to âhangâ the iron on a peg board etc.). This is a great little iron, i I use it mainly for quilting. It heats up very fast and I love the button on top to shut it down while not in use. and the side buttons for steam is really neat too. Also the added LED lighting is a very nice feature it does help on the smaller pieces.The color is very cute.I would of given it 5 stars but the weight of the iron does hinder because of I have arthritic hands and when trying to press out small half squares the front wants to get caught in it because of the indentation. But I would buy this iron again because it is small and so far it is very handy to have next to your sewing machine.
I bought a version of something similar that never seemed to work right. It was always too hot or spewed out water every time I needed steam.This M3Pro aqua is amazing. The temperature setting is on point. I love the dual steam option and the fact that I can leave it down and engaged ready to do what needs to be done. The silicone mat was also a nice touch!As a seamstress, having a reliable iron is important. I'm glad I made this investment.
