It is still a beautiful colour and has the same effect as the darker green I thought it was going to be.Feels lovely and sits nicely on our bed!

Even though I pre-purchased the swatch card to check the colours, I was really surprised and happy with the beautiful colour of the duvet. I was a little worried that the olive would be too dark, but it’s absolutely gorgeous. The sheen of the linen gives light and life to the dark colour, it looks so elegant and inviting. Couldn’t be happier with this product.

Nice and soft, a couple of buttons fell off the duvet cover first time I used it but other that soft and cozy and feels like nice quality linen. I did soak it in baking soda to soften it up as per the before use instructions which I would recommend. Lovely result. Generous fit which I put down to Australian sizing on a NZ king bed.

I think there is a reason you can’t leave pictures with your review. Size your bed and compare to these measurements. The duvet cover does not fit well. No ties inside to secure the comforter so it’s always moving and sliding to the end of the bed. I assume the people leaving these reviews have been purchasing ikea or low end and think is is amazing in comparison. If you have spend money on your bed linens you will be highly disappointed with this company who tries to posit as a high end linen company. The duvet doesn’t even cover the sides or end of the bed and leaves the terribly oversized flat sheet visible. In addition, they have AWFUL customer service and only respond to you if you leave a poor review or a comment on their Instagram. Image is everything. Do you notice they use the same stock photos in all of their products and only good reviews? They carefully curate their content while on the back end back it is an awful customer experience. They tried to give me a full refund for a build your own package because of what I have dealt with since the middle of December. I FINALLY got a full refund OFFER ( nothing in my account) after weeks of emails with no response. I finally took it to my bank to dispute the charge. Horrible company trying to lend their success on beautiful pictures and social media. DO NOT BUY.
Love the material! It so nice and comfortable. I didnt expect the quality to be this good. The stitching of the buttons are so secured. It is often the first thing I look at coz they fall off after a couple of wash. Will be buying some more soon!
I've always had inexpensive duvet covers and they've always let me down. I finally splurged on a linen duvet cover from Bed Threads and I love it so much. I chose this company over other linen bedding companies due to their environmentally friendly practices - carbon neutral, eco-friendly dyes, sustainable flax. The shipping took less than two weeks which is great considering the linens came from Australia to Canada. The olive green is perfect, exactly the colour I was looking for. The linen gives a lovely rumpled look and while I wouldn't call it buttery soft now, it's still very soft and comfortable and I'm sure it will only get better with age. I highly recommend Bed Threads and will probably be ordering sheets in the future!
I took off two stars on this duvet cover because the ties on the inside are beyond cheap: only 3 inches long if that, impossible to tie a bow with, only a knot that is then impossible to unknot. I had to sewn new, longer, better ties on. For people who do not sew, this could be a major inconvenience. Would it have killed ya'll to put decent, FOUR inch ties on the inside? Also the seams are cheaply serged & the thread used has some synthetic content that already, after ONE wash, has begun to pill away from the cotton part of the thread. The fabric used is very nice though. I also have the BedThreads fitted sheet & it gets softer & more luxurious with every wash. It is excellent because the fabric holds up to Kitty's midnight clawing. I absolutely love this duvet. I purchased this one to complete my second set of bedding and, when it arrived, I noticed how much softer my first duvet has become in just six months! I really didn’t think it would be all that different, but there’s a buttery softness to the older one that I just can’t sleep without now. I highly recommend the bedding bundle to anyone who’s on the fence—it’s worth it. I had no idea I could become this obsessed with sheets, lol. Also, the PJs soften quite the same way and are my favorite pair to wear to bed. My next purchases will be a throw blanket and waffle robe—Linenland, here I come!
Not sure if it is just me, but the green was a tiny bit less saturated and a little darker than I expected, so it just didn't give me that super rich forest green vibe I was hoping for. However, the color is still beautiful and the material is a lot softer than I expected (for linen) even right out of the box!! It is never going to be tencel/cotton/etc, but it was lovely. Pleasantly surprised.I will be returning due to color so can't speak on any other details.
I love the subtle extra texture that the striped linens seem to have and I felt that the oatmeal stripe would give more depth to the olive green colour ... and I am so pleased with what arrived. Moreover, it matches beautifully with the eclectic selection of linen I have been gathering around me from Bed Threads for many years (tumeric, rust, lavender, white and oatmeal stripe, pinstripe, fog, charcoal; and earlier now discontinued colours khaki, ruby and indigo blue). It is a real pleasure to have these beautiful fabrics in my life.
