A super comfortable summer sandal for wearing around water, docks, and boat landings, the OluKai Women’s ‘Ohana sandal has a compression-molded EVA midsole with a nice high arch and a smooth drop-in ICEVA footbed to provides an anatomical fit for all-day comfort. Water-resistant synthetic straps and backed with a quick-drying jersey liner for comfort so you can go in and out of the water and have these dry on your feet. The non-marking wet grip rubber outsole is siped for added traction. Siping was developed by John F. Sipe in 1923. One story has it that Sipe was a deckhand who grew tired of slipping across a wet deck. He discovered cutting slits into the bottoms of his shoes provided better traction than the uncut tread, and presto: deck shoes! Today, siping is used on car tires, boat shoes, work boots, and OluKai’s Ohana sandals to give you the traction you need to get that kayak down the boat launch ramp, navigate wet docks, and step aboard boats. This is the summer sandal that won’t mind getting caught in the rain, spending the day at the lake, or sitting the the bonfire watching the sun go down over the ocean. From the Hawaiian word for family, the ‘Ohana (oh-hah-na) is offered for women, men, and kids so everyone can be ready to meet summer head on.

I have been wearing Olukai Ohana sandals for over a decade and still have my first pair. These flip flops are very comfortable and durable at the same time. They are perfect for your summer adventures-walking on sharp lava rocks, sandy beaches or city streets. I love the new color combo. Highly recommend these sandals to anyone. I own 10 plus pairs of Ohana, which speaks for itself. This is my new favorite color-- cant wait to take it to Europe this summer.

The synthetic footbeds make my feet sweat within 2-5 minutes and it’s only 64 degrees, not even hot. I wanted to wear these daily around the house during summer but they make my feet sweat a lot. Will put them away and only use them at the beach. Otherwise very comfy, supportive, high quality construction. I have thin, sensitive skin and the tow thong on sandals often gives me blisters, but these broke in fast and don’t rub too much. Really disappointed I can’t wear them daily. Just ordered a different brand with leather footbed.

I was unable to wear flip flop sandals for several years after battling plantar fasciitis. I tried a pair of Olukai when shopping with my son and have never gone back to any other brand. Although these sandals never wear out, I’ve consistently rewarded myself with a new pair each year using my Tommy Bahama coupon and never deviating from my brand. I now own 6 pairs in various colors, including the original pair that I bought with my son years ago. I am “sole” on Olikai!

I usually wear a 7.5 size shoe but will order size 8 in sandles (or also in shoes if the width is only a M) so that my foot doesn't hang over the edge in any manner. These flip flops are advertised to run big so if you are at half size to order a size SMALLER. Well I ordered my usual size 8. I did not go smaller as suggested. The flip flops were STILL too small. The width barely let my foot inside the flip flop and my toes couldn't begin to go to the end. My heel hangs over the back end, not a lot but just slightly is too much for me. And considering the price of the flip flops I expected the description to be accurate. I sent them back. I really liked the color and wanted to like the flip flop but unfortunately that didn't happen.
I read a lot of reviews of a lot of different brands of flip-flops before deciding on these. Part of what sold me on them is that many reviewers mentioned them lasting for years. I’ve had them just under a year, with casual use— not overly heavy use, and the tops are suddenly starting to crack and the color is flaking off. Other than that, they have been comfortable, and both the insoles and the tread on the bottom are holding up well,. But for $75 dollars, I am really sad that the tops are falling apart so soon! I would like to return them, but am out of the country and won’t be able to get them mailed in before the year deadline without spending half the cost of the flip-flops on shipping.
Truly the best! Purchased my first Ohanas two years ago and they are still going strong. I just got a second pair as a back up for around the house and out and about. They run true to size, and I am so impressed with how well-made and comfortable these are. I was at first skeptical of whether these could really be worth the price, but I’m a convert for life now! I’m a runner and these function as my “recovery slides,” giving my poor flat feet some much-needed arch support and rest from the abuse lol. I’ll come home from a day of wearing heels or a long run, and when I slip these on it really feels like my feet give a sigh of relief. A lot of times with flip-flops, the thong attachment between the toes starts to hurt or chafe after a while—not with these, I’ll wear ... MoreTruly the best! Hello,I was really disappointed with my order. Previously I ordered the size 40; it turned out to be too small. Since I live in Bulgaria and I have ordered through a friend from Germany who afterwards sent it to me, shipping costs for return would have costed as much as the sandals. So I decided to keep them and look for someone to give and ordered the bigger size. To my surprise, they were huge - it turned out to be a different model altogether although I ordered the same. Now I have 2 pairs - one too big one too small...
This is a repeat purchase for me, because these sandals are so comfortable....no comparison to others that are flat and offer no support.Southern California native daughter for 71 years -- we wear sandals 24/7/365.This type is waterproof & provides sure footing on wet surfaces. They leave no marks on the floor. Great color choices, too!O'hana is the only brand I buy; consistently high quality, durability, and secure footing on slippery, wet surfaces.Easy to rinse and wash off, do not leave marks on the floor....and the straps are soft and comfortable. NO irritation between the first and second toes.SO glad I found O'hana!
Both my husband and I wear Ohukai Ohana sandals These sandals saved my feet. I suffered from planters faciatis due to working on concrete all day. Had to take time off to recoup & I purchased the sandals to wear around the house. They have outstanding arch support. Within the month my planners fasciitis disappeared and I’ve never gotten it since. I wear my Ohukai flip-flops 24/7 unless another type of shoe is absolutely necessary. Thank you again for your kind and prompt customer service. Mahalo
Love this style! The Ohana has the most arch support of all of them, since I have high arches and am getting older, I can only wear this style. I wear these sandals all day, 365 days a year. My house has concrete floors so I have to have something on my feet with arch support, and these are the best. I have had about 15 pairs of these within the last 8 years or so. I live at the beach and they get plenty of use. Just don't leave them out in the sun to dry, the heat will cause the glue to fail and will start to separate at the heel cup. But I will still buy them over and over again!
