This watch is more beautiful in person. The way the light shines off the dial and polished and unpolished placed on the case makes even more spectacular. For whatever reason, this watch looks dainty online. It is 42mm and an excellent size for my 7 1/4 inch wrist. It fits about like my Pelagos and wears as comfortably or more so. It is actually so comfortable and light on the rubber strap, I almost forget I am wearing it. Lume is, honestly, pretty awful IMHO, but I can see past that because of all its other great features

After some consideration, I decided to go for it. When it arrived I was to say the least quietly surprised at how the size had made little difference to the previous seamaster models. Furthermore, upon inspection, I found the the ceramic bezel and dial truly inspiring and in a different league to many similar watches of this quality. The movement of the watch was not only COSC certified, but also METAS certified putting it in a league well above other high end watches. I remember when I was in high school a friend and I went to a mall to see fashion watches like a Swatch and Casio, in a special showcase there were Omega watches, my friend and I agreed that we should have an Omega watch when we are Adults as a sign of success in life, this Omega is my first luxury watch and I am very happy, it is a beautiful watch, its quality is felt to the touch and confirmed by sight.

This is simply the best watch available for under $10,000. The movement, fit, finish, ergonomics, and design elements are flawless. At under $5,000 it is an insane value. I have many nice watches including models from AP, Blancpain, Parmigiani, Zenith, etc. This watch punches way above its price.

Great watch in an amazing black and gold design. The movement is top spec, probably the best out there and the watch comes beautifully packaged.
I now own the new Omega seamaster,and also a Rolex submariner. The Omega is now up there in quality,and with the new 8800 movement being metas approved,has actually been tested to a higher standard than the Rolex. I think it’s a beautiful watch in blue, and looks different to the Rolex which is ideal.
