I am very pleased with the purchase so useful to have in the home and for the whole family to use if needed. easy to useand to carry. The monitor is big enough to read even for elderly. the cuff is a bit hard to fix for older people and struggle your arm a lot.

The cuff is only 17" Long . My hubby is chubby but not extremely so. My doctor informed me that his reading were inaccurate because he needs a bigger cuff. I called the Omron company to buy a larger cuff and was informed they don't make a larger one and was informed they don't make a larger one. Since a lot of people who need to monitor their blood pressure can be large I think it's ridiculous that they don't make larger cuffs. I also think they should state something about if cuff is tight it will give a false reading.

Got it for a family member and it's working well after at least 5 years without having to replace anything. It's good to keep track of HBP and live a healthier life. The band with is large enough to fit most people I would say

NOT ACCURATE

After reading all the great reviews on this product I decided to purchase it to replace a very old Relion that I loved. However I started to get readings that were extremely high. I would take my blood pressure at home go straight to the doctors and their reading would be 110 to 115 compared to my readings in the 150's to 160's. I called Omron and the lady I talked to first was very pleasant. She wanted me to take my reading for 5 days using my right arm. So I did and kept a record of it along with my left arm. Then she wanted me to send my machine in so they could check out the accuracy. I explained to her that I had to take my blood pressure several times throughout the day in case I needed to take medication and I asked if the machine would be gone for any length of time and she said that they are really backed up now checking the accuracy of machines and I would be looking at 5 to 6 weeks before they could check it. Well that is not acceptable to me and I would have to buy a new blood pressure machine to cover for the time it would take Omron to check mine. My question is if these machines are so good and accurate why do they have a 5 to 6 week backlog in checking out these machines. It just does not add up. I told the rep I was not interested in doing that and I would post my reviews online so others will at least know of the potential problems they may have. Two days later the manager called me, I told her that I did not want to talk to her if she was going to treat me as if I were a child. She apologized for that. We talked and she said I would have to send my machine in for them to check. I explained my situation to her again and I told her that I could not go with out my machine for a week let alone 5 or 6 weeks. She said they have that problem all taken care of now and the big backlog no longer exists. Hmmm in 2 days they caught up? I don't think so! Just another tactic of no customer service. I am in the process of reviewing other manufactures blood pressure machines and their are some good ones out there. I can tell you I will never buy another Omron product again. Thank you

Our doctor recommended - great monitor

When my mother's doctor recommended she check her blood pressure at home, this monitor was the one she told us to buy - even told us the average price. This was the first one on the list when I went online here to look, so I bought it on doctor's advice. We really like using it - it's very easy to use (one button push) and read, gives pressure and pulse readings, and easy to fit on arm. I believe it would fit anyone in general, unless you have very large upper arms (I'm a plus size woman and it fits me well). My mother has little skinny arms and we have no problem. Very pleased with this purchase, and as always our Walmart online and pickup experience was great - highly recommend for important bp monitoring at a good price. God bless!

Simple Good Monitor

My wrist style pressure monitor which I'd had for 5 years was giving me inaccurate readings; not good when you need to monitor your BP. After some research and reading other reviews I decided on the Omron 3 Series. I wanted a basic easy to use monitor that had a arm cuff that would fit my little larger than average arm. Right out the box I was able to take a reading (after installing 2 AA batteries not included). The cuff went on comfortably though inflated there is a little discomfort occassionally but not unbearable. It tracks 14 readings for one person. There are other monitors with more bells and whistles however, if you are looking for an affordable basic monitor easy to use and accurate, the Omron 3 is a good fit in my opinion.

[Rewarded Review] Automatic blood pressure cuff

Very reliable. Works with 4 AA batteries ( which do not come with the machine). As long as you position the cuff correctly and your hand is palm up, you will get accurate measurements. It would help if the instructions on positioning had a clearer explanation. The person who does not have a medical background could position the cuff incorrectly. The cuff is comfortable and very durable.

accurate BPs

I'm a retired RN, know how inaccurate the little BP machines can be, but since my sphygmomanometer is long broken, I decided to try one. I went with Omron knowing it was a good brand. I've been getting very accurate readings with this little machine for 2 weeks now. I'm thrilled about that since I almost bought a more expensive model thinking "you get what you pay for". I've compared readings on both my arms with other large machines & am satisfied that I made a good choice. My new Omron BP was 114/64 on the left arm, and 115/65 on the right arm. There is normally a difference between arms - mine is very slight...but it is accurate. I take a reading most days, and sometimes several times a day. After comparing the readout at the dr's office, it reads higher by 10 units, but the doctor says that an inaccuracy of 5 is usally allowable. I would give it more stars if it was closer in accuracy. The heart rate reading seems accurate, which the dr says is usually not affected by the incaccuracy of the blood pressure. It costs about $69 at Walmart currently, in summer 2022.
