My wife had an old Omron monitor for years and when the screen faded and she couldn’t read the digits displayed, she decided to try a newer model. Quite expensive but bought it at a discounted price. Product also bulky! Omron Connect app is useful but since upgrading to latest US version the new app doesn’t open up automatically like the original app. Every time she tries to open the new app, a screen pops up saying ‘Data Migration’ completed (tick sign) followed by ‘Any issues? Open new app now’ at bottom of screen. She has to tap on Open new app now every single time to get in. Also it sometimes doesn’t sync automatically despite phone being next to monitor and wifi is connected. Too much faffing about to sync the readings. Useful bit is you can share or email ... This is a great device for home monitoring. The cuff is really easy to apply and the machine compact without being too small. The readings are easy to read. What I particularly like is the way readings can easily be uploaded to the free app. This displays historic readings enabling trends in BP to be monitored.
An excellent device. Easy to use. Excellent fool-proof cuff. Great facility for two users. Good integration with phone app. for management and reporting. Nice display. Some doubt over EHS or BIHS conformity but from same tech. stable as other approved devices so self certification worked for me. Recommend.
Easy to set up and use. It stores readings in its memory for 2 people. Can also download the app and have results sent to your phone. Great piece of kit. Very happy with purchase and would recommend
Easy to use, it’s good it has two user settings, but can also be used on others but won’t save those readings. Sometimes gives an error that clothing is in the way of the arm cuff, but it’s not, but simple enough to do the reading again. On the whole pleased with the product, been using daily for 3 weeks and it seems to be a good quality product and readings appear to be accurate. It is a bit pricey but I got mine on a day Boots were offering a % discount, so more affordable and more in line with what I was willing to pay.
The cuff is too stiff and hard, not welcomingly pleasant, and it also makes difficult to put all the monitor back into the prepared bag. My arm is just about 22 cm around and not long enough to hold the cuff of 14.5 cm long, leaving 1~2 cm from the forearm bend comfortably. I wish we could have the blood pressure monitor machine whose cuff is 20~30 cm around and 13 cm long.
Had a scare with high blood pressure but had to wait 10 weeks for a machine, so I bought this one.It was very easy to order and it arrived on time.It works very well and I record my pressure every day for the surgery.The only thing I cant do is to make it respond to my blue tooth. I think its an aged lady thing.Otherwise I am very happy with this machine.
