The Cloudboom Echo 3 has been an outstanding shoe for me. I ran a half marathon and accomplished a new pb by a lot! I felt that these shoes kept my stride consistent, strong, and fast. Very light responsive and fast shoes. I would definitely consider buying a second pair once my first pair runs down.

I bought this shoe as a replacement to my Nike AlphaFlys and I was not all that impressed. It is a great shoe but for the $300 price tag it is not on the same level as the AlphaFlys. It doesnt have the same kind of reponse and for say $200 maybe this shoe would be worth the squeeze. I returned my pair and will stick with the AlphaFlys.

Great race shoes from On. I've put about 25 miles on them so far (in two 10k races and some speed workouts) Definitely encourages you to pick up your cadence. Very propulsive and feels fun to run in.Caveats:1) The shoe runs narrow and a bit long. If you have wide feet, it'll be a tight fit. I had to go down 1/2 a size because there was a lot of room in the toe box -- I have narrow feet and the shoes ended up fitting me perfectly.2) These are VERY rigid. Much more firm/rigid than Nike Vaporfly 3s. I think if you're a forefoot or midfoot striker, these could work out great for you. The shoe is super agile, but I'm not sure I would take them past anything past the 10k or half marathon distance. This is a personal preference, but as you get past half marathon ... MoreGreat race shoes from On. That's not much compared to other supershoes. I like them a lot, but given the (very) high price, I would be hesitant to purchase these again at full price. This is the primary reason I took one star off.

They fit to size, I think they are excellent shoes. Good laces that don't untie, as well.
On always produce great running shoes. No complaints with the Echo Boom 3.
Great running shoe that is not only functional, but stylistically beautiful.
Christmas gift my so. Tried on already he said they were like wearing a cloud 😂😂
I explored every other supershoe on the market currently, trying to find something that I found perfect. The CB echo 3 checked nearly every box. It is firm, which I love. The shoe itself provides a very snappy underfoot feel, much more than any other supershoe on the market. The vaporfly 3, hoka carbon and rocket, new balance, and a few other of the well known plated supershoes were just too squishy for a fast race and workouts for me.I typically wear size 11, or 11.5 in ON shoes. I have ran in the cloudgo, cloudmonster, and cloudsurfer. I am a big fan of the ON brand as a whole now. I also measure in at an E midfoot, which is slightly wide for men (D is standard). The fit on these in a size 11 for me is perfect, it does fit snug through the midfoot being that ... MoreI explored every other supershoe on the market currently, trying to find something that I found perfect. I also measure in at an E midfoot, which is slightly wide for men (D is standard). The fit on these in a size 11 for me is perfect, it does fit snug through the midfoot being that most/all of the supershoes are narrow. I find that in this shoe, I unlaced one of the middle eyelets to free up some space for my midfoot. It has great lockdown and the arch does not feel very invasive compared to shoes like the vaporfly or alphafly.I use these strangely for cross country (8k college). I find that these do operate very nicely on a cross course with mostly dirt and some grass. I live in california, so any cross country course is very packed and hard. Though the shoe is intended for road use, I find this carbon plated racer to be pretty useful for track sessions and cross country races as well.My two true complaints about this shoe are that they are said to be quick to break down, and with the price of $300 it is very steep. My second complaint falls into the fragile nature of the foam in the shoe. From the first day of having the shoe, I was at the track doing a short workout in them. While taking off the shoes, the rear heel foam tore. The separation was clean from the heel counter on the shoe.Overall, the cloudboom if you can afford it is very fast and snappy. But if you want something that will last long, this shoe simply is not it.
These shoes are extremely comfortable. I was able to walk all day in them all day from the very beginning. I have received lots of compliments.

On Cloudboom Echo 3 Mens | Sole Motive 10 / White/Flame
The On Cloudboom Echo 3 is designed for runners who want to get the most out of their training and competitions and want to cover many kilometers at a high pace. Running fast times at distances up to the marathon is easy with the Cloudboom Echo, which is also good for long endurance runs at a higher pace. Accelerate to victory with this competition shoe, designed for top performance during every race! Midsole The Cloudboom Echo 3 has the updated Helion X1 superfoam. Even as your run gets tougher, Helion X1 superfoam provides high levels of energy return so you can keep running at speed. The implemented carbon plate will give your running experience a speed boost and provide extra stability. This full-length plate propels you forward and lengthens your stride. The carbon plate of the shoe has a curved construction (rocker shape), so that you feel more foam on the forefoot. Because the carbon shoe is pointed upwards in the toe, your foot will automatically roll off. This results in a smooth transition from heel to forefoot. Finally, the signature CloudTec technology has been used. The cloud elements that you see in the sole fold together diagonally while you run, this creates nice cushioning and an energetic push-off. Upper The upper of this model is made of microfibers, which provides ventilation to keep your feet cool. As a second advantage, this material will absorb less water to keep your feet dry, so you can always run comfortably. Finally, the upper is completed with a knitted tongue. The tongue provides a firm locked-in feeling for your feet. Outsole For optimal performance, this On shoe has a high-performance rubber outsole. The rubber components provide grip and increase your traction while running. Stay up to speed even during a rain shower, this model has a sole that offers maximum grip on slippery roads. Experience the perfect balance between speed, comfort and durability with the On Cloudboom Echo 3 at your feet.
