Overall great shoes, I have 3 bulging disc and 2 herniated disc so standing is not an amazing feeling within 10 minutes. I was looking for a shoe for comfort, wide feet, and relieve pressure on my back. I stand at work for almost 8 hours. I bought these and I'm glad I did because I sometimes forget my back issues since it does help. The only downside is both shoes cracked at the bend. I have to squat to refill printer under my podium and it's the exact same spot on both shoes.

This was helpful as my feet tend to swell just a bit when running longer miles. I've had no issues with blisters or other challenges I've had with narrower shoes (Nike).The toe box is nice and wide, the traction is good, and the shoes handle pavement and loose gravel nicely. Occasionally when running in larger loose rock I have gotten a rock stuck in the sole of the shoe, but those are rare instances and easy to resolve. I'm not sure how good these would be for people looking to really speed up. They do feel a little heavy, but not in an overly burdensome way. With that said, for those looking for an Uber-light race shoe in hopes of breaking some world record this is probably not the shoe for you ... however, you probably already knew that!The first pair of Cloudmonster's I purchased were white. I liked those but they did get dirty pretty easily. These avoid that problem. The purple is ok, probably not my first choice. I did notice they came out with an all-black option after I bought these and I probably would have gone with those to be honest if they were available at the time of my purchase.I plan on purchasing these shoes again, I highly recommend them!

I used to run in Brooks Beast in my military days, but since then I dropped off and gained some weight. My fiancee bought me a pair of Cloudmonsters and it brought me back to a legit runner. I went from not running to doing competitive 5Ks in these and even shaved 5 minutes off my time. I've purchased three pairs in 15 months and put 250 miles in each pair. When I say these are my shoes, I mean it. I'm 42, I weigh 240 lbs, and average a 26-minute 3.2 miles. I've won five age group awards in my first year of competive 5Ks, which is an accomplishment for somebody who was running before these shoes.
This is the best ON shoe in a long time. Great roll through your gait, good cushioning, very stable and has a good range for training. I take these on my long easy runs, but, I also use them on my tempo runs. These shoes have a good range from 8 min mile to 6 min mile. I would go to your regular size on these. With the limited upper use a runner's knot for good lock down. I also use thicker socks as the tongue is very minimal. But, I rotate 3 pair and have had one pair last to 500mi. It seems they changed the heel cup a bit, the older version was a bit lower on the sides and seemed more cushioned, the newer models rub me a bit on my bony ankles. But, they are my go to shoes up to 18 mi. I'm a midfoot striker running about 38 miles a week currently.
I am incredibly disappointed with this purchase and would recommend no one buy this shoe. It is an attractive shoe, and I felt very comfortable. However, after 3 months of light wear, one shoe began squeaking with each step. This squeak is loud enough that people I've walked by routinely notice it. This happens on every surface and occurs when the sole compresses. I contacted On, and they were VERY clear that this was not covered by the warranty, and they recommended I "put baby powder in the shoe". This, obviously, wasn't effective.I looked online, and these shoes squeaking appear to be very common. Please google "On shoes squeaking". It happens as the air cells in the sole compress. After much debate, I finally took the plunge! And these shoes are amazing! As a nurse, I'm on my feet constantly and for hours at a time. And the cloudmonsters are literally like walking on clouds. There excellent arch support and my heels have stopped aching. Even the fatigue in my legs have improved. The one concern I have is I don't know how long the shoe will actually hold up over time. I worry that the cushion of the sole will wear out quickly. Other than that I 10/10 recommend!
I basically bought these because I thought they looked interesting, and I was curious if they'd make me look cooler than I actually am. After wearing them a few times, they quickly became one of my favorite pairs because of how comfortable they are and the level of street cred I got. I mean, I have cool shoes, but somehow everyone wanted to talk to me about these?I also love the colors that Anthropologie carries. You can't find those anywhere else!
Purchased at store. They felt good in the store for only wearing a few minutes and look koo. Got in parking and decided to put them on and go for a stroll around the strip mall. With in 15 minutes, I could feel the pain! These are definitely NOT cloud monsters! There is very little cush compared many other shoes on the market. If you are looking for a recovery comfort shoe, do not waste your $$! Nike Invincible 3, ASICS nimbus 25, New balance fresh foam v4 all make these cloud monster shoes feel like Fred Flintstone stone wear. Not impressed AT ALL! And, the price is ridonculous for what you get.
