Women's running shoes On Running Cloudeclipse are designed for runners with a neutral foot position who prefer running on asphalt surfaces. A key element of this model is the sole made of Helion superfoam, which excellently absorbs shocks and provides exceptional comfort even during long runs. The height difference between the heel and toes, known as the drop, is 6 mm, which supports natural foot movements and helps reduce muscle fatigue. Advanced technology The shoe construction features Speedboard technology, which provides additional control and stability during running. It allows smooth transitions between foot movement zones, which is important for training efficiency. Additional rubber pads placed on the outsole significantly improve grip, which is especially important when running in wet conditions. Comfort and breathability The upper of the shoe is made of mesh, ensuring optimal breathability regardless of training intensity. The built-in tongue connects with the upper, providing a great fit and minimizing the risk of the shoe slipping during a run. Thanks to carefully designed embroidery zones, the shoe offers additional support in the forefoot area, increasing user comfort. Optimal weight Weighing 240 g, the shoe does not burden the leg, which is crucial for maintaining a high running pace and the user's energy efficiency. All these features, combined with a modern design, make this model an ideal choice for demanding runners seeking advanced running footwear.

This is what all the other max cushion trainers are trying to be. It's really well cushioned without feeling "sloggy" at easy paces. It picks up well for moderately fast paces and there's a quiet smoothness to the ride that makes running feel effortless like you could go forever. Stable enough for packed dirt too, so easily usable as an ultra racer. Fit is TTS, a roomy toebox. I wear W7.5 in Saucony/Nike and W7 in these with plenty of toe space, but could go up for a bit more length for runs over 3hrs. Laces aren't the best, but that's my only con. These are fantastic.

After wearing the ON shoes for one whole day, I got a blister on my left heel. Took the shoe off and noticed there was no padding at the top inside heel of the shoe. There was a very rigid ribbed, zigzag ribbing. Took the shoes back to Dicks Sporting goods in Temecula promenade mall only wanting an exchange. I spoke to the manager I think her name was Stephanie or something like that, and she was extremely rude and wouldn’t budge and would not exchange the shoes. She offered to sell me a pair of socks LOL! I took the shoes home and called Dick’s Sporting Goods 877 customer service number and spoke to a manager who in turn gave me enough points to my account to purchase a new pair of shoes. I could have purchased these shoes at Amazon and returned them with no hassle. In fact, just about any store you purchase from these days will return defective product with no hassle. But not Dicks! I do want to say the manager at the call center office that I spoke to was very helpful and thoughtful, so I would give her five stars. But I will never purchase anything in the store again. I would advise if you do decide to purchase, to do it on their website

I went into REI for the cloud monster 2 for some reason they just didn’t feel like i expected them i saw the eclipse and decided to try them on. First im usually a 9.5 in EVERY SHOE. In the cloud monster 2 i was a 9 and in the eclipse i was a 8.5 comfortably & i have chunky feet lol.The shoe literally feels like walking on a cloud. I got the pair with the tan bottom because they would show less dirt. I’m waiting for more colors because these aren’t the best but the comfort is enough to keep me a customer.

In store, I LOVED these. I noticed they sit very high on the ankle, but it was more an observation than an issue. Love the 6mm drop. Love the max cushioning. I *thought* they'd be like the Surfer except not as squishy and more cushioned. HOWEVER. the sitting high on the ankle is actually a huge problem. I have run a total of 14 miles in 4 short runs. Woke up in the middle of the night with EXTREME pain next to my ankle where the shoe hits. Now I can barely bear any weight on that foot. Will be returning no doubt. Wish the upper was like the surfer but it is really bad.
Not sure what these reviewers are referring to about shoes squeaking. Not an issue at all with my pair. And the reviewer who complained of ankle rubbing against shoe must have a minimal heel as mine in no way rub against my heel in any way. I absolutely love the comfort and looks. My first pair of On’s and in my experience it will be a keeper with others from this brand likely to be purchased in the future.
Great Shoe.Had the Cloudmonster version 1 first (highly cushioned, fast and comfortable neutral shoe, also recommend). Almost bought the new version of CM but then got convinced to try this Cloudeclipse version 1.I like it slightly more than the cloudmonster 1 because:+ more responsive+ also more cushioned+ better laces + stronger hold+ fast feel
I love these tennis shoes, unfortunately they squeak with every step.I’ve read to use a finger nail file between the holes on the bottom and file them it should solve the squeak. Not sure how that helps. No one spends $180.00 on shoes that squeak.Bad deign flaw and should receive an even trade on a different pair.If there is a YouTube fix than ON Clould should recall them for the bad design.Would not recommend if squeaking irritates you.
Just when you think a company has perfected, fit, weight, biomechanical superiority - they raise the bar even higher. The new Cloudeclipse has taken running shoes to a whole new level. If you loved the Monster you will love the Eclipse. It’s much lighter, due to a new more breathable upper. There cushioning is as good as Nike’s new Alphafly 3 Proto. Plus they are 100 cheaper in price. This should extend the shoe’s lifetime by 150+ km. If your a trail runner this shoe isNot for you. On has put very thin layers of durable rubber on the outsole with some exposed EVA, while making the shoe lighter it will reduce the tread and rubber on the outsole. Fit 4.5, looks 4.7, ride 4.9Overall I give the new On Cloudeclipse a 4.7 out of 5. Run on my friends.PHarms - Edmonton
The reports of squeaking are true! At least, that's what I found. I loved these for their incredible cushion and arch support (I have VERY high arches). But after about 1 month, and maybe 8 walks, the squeaking started. Initially, I thought it was from the trail being wet after it'd rained. Nope. Hoping the company addresses this. But I must return these, or I will go mad from the squeaks!
Love my new On shoes!!! I have been a Hoka - girl for, well as long as Hoka has been. With changing styles every year, they changed right out of my comfort zone and Ons picked it up in a very comfortable, supportive way!! These are so much more comfortable than anything I have tried for a couple years. I have a lumbar multi- level fusion, so I have some issues that I am very careful with, these shoes help. I’m not running marathons right now, but have. The cloudeclipe would be a nice addition, due to comfort, light weight, mesh cooling, not riding high on ankles yet supportive, maintaining a neutral foot position. Thank you!!
