I have worn the Cloudventure WP 2.0 shoe for 2 years, which were the best trail running shoe I've ever worn. When they started to fall apart, I bought these new v3's. The build quality looks better, and sole construction is a significant improvement, BUT the fit is so different that I get horrible arch pain within the first mile of my runs. The midfoot and arch area seems have a narrower fit than the previous version. No good for me, need to keep looking for a different shoe.If you are upgrading from the 2.0's, I recommend trying these inside on a treadmill for a few runs to make sure the fit is still right for your feet!

Ivory Green looks great in person and the shoe is built well with lots of support. The tread is a good in-between trail running and general every day running. Shoe sizing does run a bit tight/narrow, but will ease up with wear. The spacing of the tread still remains a bit of an issue with getting rocks stuck in-between them, but it isn't too big of a deal. Lastly, the outer while material seems easy to clean and maintain. Can't speak on durability, but my previous pair held up better than the general waterproof runners where the tread sole of the show actually started to disconnect from the upper shoe itself... this shoe has a tougher build.

You can see that Designers of Cloudventure have put a lot of thoughts into it. These shoes are lean (no crazy thick padding everywhere because of lazy designers) and structurally sound. And they look great too.

I have a non-goretex version, which I love, and wanted a winterized version. I'm enjoying it. Decent grip on snow, keeps my feet dry (but not necessarily warm - in retrospect I would order a half size larger to accommodate thicker socks!).I wear size 8 in regular shoes, but always 8.5 in runners. I got 8.5 in this runner, and it's exactly as expected.
These are my first trail runners so I can’t really compare to other trail running shoes but I can tell these are the most comfortable shoes I ever worn. The grip on them is absolutely amazing. I have been hiking around Snowdonia mountains and these shoes kept me safe and painless. I 100% recommend sizing up, I ordered my size 6UK and had to return in for a size 7UK which are just perfect. The customer service at Sigma Sports is also excellent so I’m very satisfied with my purchase.
I hate the fact that they are NOT waterproofWhat a shame!Yes they do have sort of a water “resistance” with wet grass, it definitely kept my feet dry.However, when it was a rainy day, not even squall… came back home with wet socks.And no, socks were wet around toes. The insulation is really poor made.Not to mention when its +5, not the best feelingThumbs down. in my opinion, not worth 200$+
I have narrow feet with a high arch and these shoes are the perfect fit for me. It is my first pair of ON shoes and I immediately heard the difference on the pavement; the noise is similar to a hard surface hitting the pavement. After wearing them an entire day at work on a snowy day, I confirm they are soft, warm and dry.
These shoes started to show wear around the rim at six months. I do not trail run, only walk and hike in the woods. I wear these shoes only in summer and shoulder seasons when the ground is wet and occasionally for errands, in winter not at all. I was surprised at how fast they started to tear and that eventually the sides broke through on both shoes. My husband also has a pair and the same thing happened. I am a size 7 1/2 and bought a size 8.
Wife works at a Florida youth camp with sandy, generally flat, ground. Purchased these in late October 2021 and by the end of January, the plastic sides of the toe box have separated from the cloth toe cover. She chooses shoes that specifically state they are waterproof as Florida does get a lot of rain and she will be outside for a good amount of the rain. She enjoys the shoes, and this pair could be an isolated malfunction. This is her first pair and after about 4 months of regular wear the bottom tread still looks good, but the sides are the main issue.It is recommended for the Waterproof shoes to go one size up from normal pairs, which is what we did and they do fit a little snug on the sides but are not uncomfortable.
I do not us On shoes for running long distances. I bought these waterproof shoes more for waterproof factor and I like On shoes for wearing regularly for days of kids sports. My feet stay dry walking through wet grass or parking lots of snow and rain. I don’t think these are quit as breathable as I hoped, but they are pretty good for a waterproof shoe. My main issue is that the seem around the toe has loosened in multiple places and I have glued it back down. I have had them for 6 months and worn them many times.
