This is the best powder foundation I've ever used. It's got the best coverage, and using fair 2 and fair 4, I think suits my skin tone well. Out of any powder foundation I've used (quite a lot), it's got the best finish and avoids looking cakey unless you go really crazy with it. I've found that for me this works best on it's own applied with the puff after moisturizing and priming. I took away one star (maybe unfairly) only because when I tried to use this over my favorite liquid foundation, it broke apart at my nose creases and smile lines. That could just be the combo of liquid foundation with the powder or even the setting spray or primer I used (both work with each foundation individually so idk), but it was not pretty nonetheless. I was influenced from social media to get this holy grail foundation. This powder foundation is not just hype; it’s the real deal. The second I swiped this foundation on with a puff…my face looked like it had a blur filter on. No shine, no visible pores. I normally don’t do powder foundation because of how quickly it could look cakey, but this is an exception. Even in hot humid weather, this holds up so beautifully without any need for touchups. Shade range is beautiful and all inclusive for everyone. My personal shade I use is Light 5 (NR) Would REALLY recommend!

I only use it under my eyes to brighten and smooth, and that’s exactly what it does for me! It adds a little extra coverage as well. I apply with a powder puff and only use a small amount. Amazing!!

I absolutely LOVE this powder foundation!! It doesn't settle into my fine lines and the shade match is PERFECT!! I'm able to use it for medium coverage days as well as for those full coverage, full-on glam days. The shade I ordered ended up being too dark, but that was completely MY fault. I emailed customer service to initiate an exchange and customer service was absolutely phenomenal!!! They let me keep my original purchase and 2 days later I received the correct shade powder. I am so thankful they let me keep my original shade as it should be perfect after some time in the sun! Very happy with the product and customer service.

Disappointed

I was color matched in store to 2(N) and all stores around me were sold out. I waited for a while for it to return in stock online before I could finally try it. I wanted to love this because I read so many great reviews and saw how it looked on Sephora associates in store; however, I was disappointed upon trying it myself. I do appreciate the shade range as someone who has difficulty finding a true neutral light medium. 2(N) is that shade! It applied like a dream, but after a few hours, it accentuated every line on my face. Despite using Milk's HydroGrip primer and MAC fix+ setting spray, it became patchy and splotchy by mid-afternoon. Some spots on my face didn't even have foundation on it! Holy Grail of Powder Foundation

I love a matte, medium to full coverage which looks natural.I require cruelty-free products. I only found this foundation due to researching a site for all cruelty-free brands. I was desperate to find a quality product.I used with and without primer, with a brush and with the lovely sponge sold separately and it loks great with all methods. I was skeptical that I would like this foundation - loved the BBB Cream (best foundation I have used in my 40 years of wearing makeup) - but after I found my correct shade (darker than I expected) I actually really like it. I have extremely oily skin with some texture. I apply the foundation with my fingers and it has a good medium coverage. I am not interested in a full beat so the lighter finger application is perfect for me. I use a OneSize primer and set with the OneSize setting powder. The foundation shade match is spot on and even better than the BBB Cream. I was honestly afraid to try a powder foundation because I have acne scars and normal to dry skin that it would just show all the texture and look cakey, but the opposite happened. My skin look’s amazing with this product and patients at my clinic have come up to me saying how does you skin look so perfect. That shocked me cuz my skin looks so bad with scarring and rosacea. Rosy undertone oxidizes

When I found this product in a Sephora store, I was really excited because not many brands make powder foundations. I wish that I would have waited and read the reviews online about how this foundation oxidizes and turns orange. I have cool rosy undertones. I’ve worn this foundation a few times and I thought that I had just chosen the wrong shade, because it turns orange on me in a few hours I might try the lighter rosy undertone shade. There’s only one, but I’m actually concerned that it’s going to do the same thing. 7% of the reviews here advise that several shades oxidize. O/S I hope you’re reading these reviews and making adjustments to your product. Otherwise I think it’s a good product.

They knocked it out of the park

So I switched to One Size after Estée Lauder did what they do, randomly discounted an excellent product. Their powder foundation (old formula not the new) was perfection but I decided to give one size a try. This powder is not on that level but very close. It’s light to medium coverage but it is not as buttery and blurring as Estée Lauder’s powder. It is however a PERFECT match to my skin which Estée was not. The packaging is GENIUS. Love the opening mechanism and I would repurchase it.
