But buying it not new, I guess whoever had it before me did something to it.My best advice is, if you buy it, buy it either new, or certified through them. They obviously don't check items returned to them as well as they say they do. And if they ship it to you, be weary of the packaging not being sufficient enough to protect your phone from damage.

I've owned this phone for a few weeks. It appealed to me because the features for the price paid cannot be beat. The camera seems to be as good as the camera on my Samsung S22 plus. It has better indoor reception for calls than my Samsung or my wife's Apple product. It's slippery and needs a case you can grip. It charges faster than anything I have ever seen. My only complaint was the software. Setting it up the way I wanted it set up was maddening. This would be my second OnePlus phone and is replacing my three year old OnePlus 7 Pro. While I miss the 100% full screen of the 7 Pro, this was a very suitable upgrade. The display is great and the edges aren't as curved. The hole punch front camera is minimally distracting. Of course it is several years newer and has a fresh battery so battery life and speed is better.The default camera app is better than the 7 Pro but overall OnePlus is still behind the big names (Apple, Google, and Samsung) on their computational photography for those special magic features. But the huge space on the back for the cameras concerns me so I installed a glass cover. This made getting a case harder as some push on the glass. However, this could be due to a different brand of screen protector so I'll have to try again later.

Once upon a time, OnePlus sold great phones at a low cost, that were also easy to root. Now they're just a generic flagship brand making mediocre me-too phones, being far behind Apple, Samsung, and Google (and Xiaomi which isn't sold in the US).While the hardware is excellent, the software experience sucks. Rooting has become too dangerous due to the changes OnePlus made when they "merged" with Oppo, you can't get a clean state anymore without calling an Oppo/OP technician over the phone. This phone would have been great if LineageOS could run on it, which it can't unlike previous models.I returned my OP10Pro and bought a Pixel 7 (non-Pro). Even if my Pixel can't run LineageOS (yet) and has worse hardware, the Pixel software is excellent.

The 65watt charger+cable v comes in the box, as does a good quality bumper case and a pre-fitted tempered glass screen protector.

I'd recommend this phone to anyone looking for flagship quality, and a solid piece of hardware for under $1k, and doesn't mind sacrificing a few "breaking edge" features.

I really like the rear of the phone, the many customization options and a complex ui that can be as in depth or as simple as you want it to be . The phone can also connect to dual WiFi network and also switches between bands automatically if you set the adaptor connectivity feature. This always utilizes the 5g band for cellular as preferred and very rarely switches to lte. The battery acts as two separate batteries which allows for warp charging which it's accomplished in a fraction of what the Pixel offered for "rapid charging" this works out to a 20 minutes charge for a much larger battery vs the 2 hours on the 7a. The thermal solution on the one plus is by far superior. The fingerprint sensor works really well and rarely do i have an issue with it unlocking. The facial recognition is also great and unlike the pixel both options are present when locked. I have had very little in issues with general connectivity and setup. The home screen is very customizable and i keep finding new features that have become really useful in cars where you want to use the phone quickly without becoming distracted. The assistant and universal search make everything super easy. I have wanted s one plus for ages and so far I'm not disappointed. Everything looks great. There's a really nice gaming booster that you can also customize. The color space is customer with many different profiles and the well being apps and zen app are great for staying focused. If you want to try something different i highly recommend this phone or the 11 , which was provider than I could afford but would have been my first choice. While i read setting it up i read very surprised to find Android updates right up to the may update add sell as UI updates for the same build. Great experience 10 out of 10.
This is a great phone. If you know Oneplus, then you know it's super fast, fluid with great customization! The display is superb and the cameras are great. Don't believe anyone that says these cameras aren't competitive, 'cause they most certainly are! The Emerald Green color has a "wow' factor for sure! Battery life is much better than the 9 Pro, though I have noticed it can get a little warm when under intense conditions. But, nothing to get worked up about. Takes about 35 mins to charge from 0% - 100%. As usual, that kicks the competition's *ss in the good ole USA. Also, I’m getting great 5G reception, with no trouble! Oxygen OS flows perfectly as well!
