Hi, I'm having a problem with my One plus Nord 2 5G, I bought this phone on 25/10/2021. The problem is when I receive a call the ringtone is ringing from low volume to high. For my office use I can't take a call on correct timings so that I went to my nearest authorised service centre called Dreams Mobiles in Karamana (Trivandrum, Kerala). They told me that this is due to the software issue and they changed the software, after that no changes happened in ringtone volume also some more issues happened in my phone like Battery draining and over heating. I didn't expect such kind of a bad experience from One Plus. I can't adjust anymore with this phone.

Don't buy this phone if you are a tech freak. The UI is glitchy.Notifications are screwed up big time. You will never get to know the notification that you have received as it gets lost in other notifications. The sensor next to speaker might stop working anytime as making the controls during the call active. If you want to make calls and text people then it might be good for it but same activites can be done on inr 10,000 phone. Why waste 30k.
Well, This is my second OnePlus phone.I think this is the best phone I have had including some flag ship phones I have owned previously. It is classy looking. Being based on Android 11, the GUI was very neat and calculate but still reak of some improvement. The main rear camera is brilliant although it lacked some of the features from the previous Nord that could have enhanced the experienced on another level. (The best feature)Like most of flag ship phones it does not have a head phone port. But who need that with the current technology of wireless wearables it makes no sense and a perfect way to use OnePlus earbuds which i an another topic. All in all this is a brilliant phone, but if you wanna buy the colour of your choice that's pretty limited.
Pros: Easy to set up and restore apps/contacts on to, make secure with password and finger print. Great camera/video.Charges in 30 minutes and holds charge all day.Loved the fact it came with a case as well. Very intuitive and quickCons: Ringtones a bit boring, not sure what the Shelf feature is so could be explained better and still not found out to do a screen shot but overall a great android phone. Had a Huawei before and it was an easy transition for me. Only needed the grandkids to help me work out whether it could scan QR codes or not. It can't but downloaded an app.
This is my first OnePlus phone.I think this is the best phone I have had including some flag ship phones I have owned. It is classy looking. Being based on Android 11, the GUI was easy to navigate. I tweaked a few things because that's how I like to set up my phones. It was very easy to do.The main rear camera is brilliant including in low light. The amoled screen is more than fine for my needs. The processor is fast.No wireless charging but with the 65w Warp charger supplied, it charges from 0 to 100% in around 30 mins, who needs a wireless charger.Like most of flag ship phones it does not have a head phone port. I bought an adapter to use the USB C charger port. It cost a few quid. All in all this is a brilliant phone.
Good screen and camera with excellent results easily obtainable. Everything works as it should but I have realised that I don't use or want most of the features offered. What I find very very annoying is the operating system which tries to get me to change my mind, brings up news onto the screen when I don't want it, suggests things which need me to decline, rather than just swipe away, and makes me agree to things before I can even answer a call sometimes. To me this all seems random. It is definitely not wanted!I know it's to do with my approach to technology generally (no Facebook or other social media) but I think I'll go simple next time.
After owning this phone for several weeks now I would thoroughly recommend it. It was exceptionally easy to set up out of the box and everything just seems to work as it should do. It is very responsive and so far has delivered rock solid reliability. Sound, screen and camera quality all exceed what I had expected at this price point and battery life is very good even with heavy use. I particularly like the relatively "vanilla" implementation of Android without unnecessary whistles and bells, the ability to re-charge from 0-100% in about half an hour and the inclusion of a pre-installed screen protector and gel case. I can honestly say that I have not yet found anything that I dislike. Overall I feel that this phone represents outstanding value for money.
Performance 4/5Photos 4.8/5Video Cam 4/5Low Light 4.1/5Slo Mo 4/5Ergonomics 5/5Build Quality 4.8/5Software 4/5Battery 4.5/5Display 4/5Updates 3/5Stability 4.5/5The phone is what you would expect from a company like Oneplus. The software is ok but not Oxygen OS. I don't understand why OP being OP opted for Color OS. Color OS is good but Oxygen OS is superb.Battery and cameras are becoming good with frequent updates.Although its bad that Nord 2 5g is still lacking 12 update at the time of this review. I'm using this phone since 3 months and it has never underperformed or let me down. The phone feels premium when compared to XIAOMI, Realme, Samsung. I know they have some great phones too.. But in that range Oneplus is still miles ahead.
