I had the extreme displeasure of assembling the ONEX GX1 chair. What an pathetic piece of rubbish. I had to put taps through the inserts to enable screws to fit. The dimensional location of the threaded inserts were wrong in that they were located too far from the edges of the seat and backrest. It shows that it is made in Australia, well, China makes better products than Mr. ONEX. In one word: JUNK.

I bought this to replace a cheap, naff chair from Warehouse Stationery. What an improvement! I have a bad back so this still gives me discomfort after 1-2 hours, but for the price (I got it on special) I think it is reasonable. I don't think it would be good value at full price. It seems well-made and feels sturdy. If you have a bad back like I do, it would be worth spending more to get something more comfortable, especially if you need to sit in it for long periods regularly.

Pros:Cheaper than other gaming chairsFull length arm rests (the main reason I bought it)Looks reasonably stylishGood amount of padding on seat and backrest. Waaay more comfortable than my DX-RacerCons:It does not breathe as it claims to. The material is just normal faux-leather, which does NOT breathe. "AIR tech" seems to be nothing more than some tiny holes in places, which does effectively nothing too keep temps down.No head or neck support at all, the back is a lot shorter than pics would indicate. What appears to be a headrest in the pictures sits behind my neck at an angle that makes it impossible to reach since the contour of the chair leans back at the top.The armrests are quite low, my elbows don't even reach them while sitting at the keyboard. My ... MorePros:Cheaper than other gaming chairsFull length arm rests (the main reason I bought it)Looks reasonably stylishGood amount of padding on seat and backrest. Probably suits a teen or shorter person quite well but as an average sized guy at 5'9" (176cm) I wish both the back and armrests were higher and that it actually breathed like it claims to.

Why did I want this purchase?I've been wanting a office or gaming chair to replace my single seat armchair that was causing me to slouch way to much times a day.Pros:Budget friendly.Arrived earlier than expected.Putting it together was fun, but had a little bit of trouble when it came to fixing the back rest.Comfy enough for me to sit on when gaming for hours.Looks cool to be part of a gaming setup.Seat stays cool enough for me.Cons:No head rest.Final say.I'm happy to say I would not need to replace this gaming chair for a very long time.
I’ve just got it set up in the lounge atm. Maybe 2 weeks I’ve had the chair and the only thing I found quite annoying about it (if at all) was putting the chair together. Screwing the armrests to the back of the chair and to the seat is pretty much a two person job (unless I was unlucky with the screws I got).Basically, I’d probably get a different chair for building wise but the chair it self is quite comfortable. It’s only got one lever so it’s just up and down, lock and unlock the leaning bit of the chair.
This chair is versatile and can be used as both a gaming OR office chair.Pro's:Comfy to sit on with lots of paddingEasy to adjust height of chairAssembling the chair was a tad awkward, but easy enough to get set-up.Con's:Has a natural recline to it (e.g. the chair won't be straight upright if that's of concern to you, however there is no lever to recline chair.Depending on your budget, i'd give this a go. There are probably nicer chairs out there, however it does the job.
A good entry-level gaming chair that fits your pocket. I bought it on special, so even better deal.Easy to assemble, good finish quality and comfortable enough. I've been using it to work from home for a few weeks now, and no complaints. The only thing missing for me is an adjustment on the armrests and some neck support, but that is expected at this pricepoint.
I bought this chair along with the Eureka GTG-I47 Gaming Desk, and it is a match made in heaven. While the chair may be lacking in some of the typical features found in other "gaming chairs", I think the subtle design, firm seat, and decent lumbar support make for a perfectly comfortable desk chair. I could see how using this chair for prolonged use may become uncomfortable, but for the 2-3 hours/session I use it, I have no complaints. If you're looking for a nice chair at a good price, look no further.
I got this chair 1 month ago. It’s really comftable compared to what i had before. I sit it 4-5 hours every arvo, the padding is nice that easily takes my 95kg and i have plenty of room when seated . I dont use it for gaming, just to relax in after work put my feet up and watchyoutube etc on my tablet. Easy to put together, took me about 10-15 minutes. I can recommend this chair to anyone that wants a comfy chair that doesn’t break the bank.
