This is actually a great product. I spent a lot of time doing my research amongst the Onyx Boox collection, and also comparing them to other Tablet devices on the market. I like the Onyx Boox Tab Ultra predominantly for its note taking abilities. I have another e-ink product, though I purchased this as it had the options to download essentially any app just like other tablets on the market. Why wouldn’t you just get an iPad or why not something with color? Because I wanted this device as something to use for reading and learning and educational purposes only. I can add the app which allows me to read the local paper. I can add text books - with the added feature of clicking on a word to get the definition immediately rather than having to find a dictionary or plug ... MoreThis is actually a great product. It’s a great note taking experience - with options to add different types of pens and have those options sitting up the top of your notepad for easy switching, and the ability to purchase magnetic keyboard case to turn the Tab Ultra into a laptop. The e-ink for me puts a degree of separation between my phone (a source of constant distractions) using a visual reminder (with the gray-scaling) to get into study mode and not lose that pen and paper experience that I was brought up with for the best method of learning. Would highly recommend for that or for people who want to read with a few cool apps. But if you’re looking for a tablet to play games and watch videos I think there would be more suitable options. Otherwise - it’s a 10/10 for me.

The Boox Tab Ultra is amazing! I got it for notes and the ease of the digital notes being saved to the cloud and it works fantastically!! Definitely recommend has more features than I can use and great capability for everything!
