Have tried open farm with a previous GSD. My now newly adopted tripawd Shepherd was not having good digestion. Initially I chalked it up to her injuries, trauma and medication. But after a month or so it didn’t clear up.I ordered the chicken and salmon wet as a food topper feeling better knowing it’s human grade. There are other changes I made but I will say her poops got better and her coat is shinier! I compared this with all the other brands out there and I’m happy with open farm. Will try other flavors as well!

I recently bought a subscription for both my dog and cat. My dog loves the food!! He eats it in seconds. I give him a combination of the chicken dry food, soak it with a little bone broth and top it with some wet food. My cat on the other hand is very picky. She loves the wet food and the chicken bone broth. But she is not much of a fan of the salmon dried food. However, with the combo she does eat some of it.

My 16-yr old loves the chicken and salmon stew. He looks forward to his breakfast and dinner every night. I use it as a topper for the freeze-dried with a little water added which is great for getting nutrition and soft on his teeth. The packaging is easy to open and reseal. Love the fact that it doesn’t have the old wet dog food smell.

My 15 yr old Shih Tzu has had skin issues and is a picky eater but he loves his Chicken & Salmon rustic stew wet dog food. I mix it with the appropriate amount of Open Farm- Small Dog Chicken/Turkey/Ancient Grains dry food and Harvest Chicken bone broth.I've seen such an improvement with his skin issues. Actually - he doesn't have anymore issues since starting him on Open Farm. Wish I had found this brand earlier!
No empty bowls when you give my dog this. She loves the Open Farm food so happy to see her happy and growing from eating healthy dog food. She also loves the dried Cod Skins. I did alot of research online to find dog food that was healthy in every ingredient. We love Open Farm.
My finicky 17 year old miniature labradoodle loves this food. It’s easy on her old teeth and I like that she’s getting good ingredients. Bonus that it doesn’t take up room in my freezer. My new puppy also enjoys it as a topper and waits nearby hoping for leftovers.
Why ruin the health, and shortened the lives of rescues by feeding them poisoned/chemically treated dog food from factory farm meat, right? Even if they says Organic that does not mean those animals were raised in such poor, filthy conditions! Rescuing doesn't stop when we pay to adopt, but it means giving the best lives those animals deserve after suffering in the hands of the heartless humans. So thank God for Open Farm! I personally conversed with the staff members on Messenger to make sure they are Health and Ethics friendly as they say they are! As I cannot feed my beloved Zoloft (yes, that's the name of my dog) any flesh that came from the tortured animals, so I am so grateful that we found a company that ONLY make dog food with humanly raised Step 4 meat and ... I have two medium sized dogs, one that’ll eat anything left in front of her, and the other requires me to usually sit or stand next to him while he eats. He’s been like this as long as I’ve had him (he’s a rescue, so his quirky habits are attributed to that). I had tried so many options before seeing an advertisement for Open Farm from one of my IG foster families. Discounts are always a good incentive too, and I got one for my first order so I could feel a little less guilty about my wallet size. Needless to say, when I got my order in and fed the dogs dinner with their new food, Stew included, my dog Fester, the picky one, ate his food with excitement and hunger. His demeanor has changed so much and so has his breath! I wish I had known about Open Farm years ago. ... His demeanor has changed so much and so has his breath! I wish I had known about Open Farm years ago. So many mornings spent sitting hyping my dog up to eat his food when I just needed to spend a few extra dollars on something well worth the money.Tldr; picky eater. Look no further with open farm dried food and stew. The stew is essential. Not only to cure your dogs bad breath (Mine was awful) but to make sure your dog enjoys their meals. And mine definitely does!
Our girl Athena loves your food! We've tried several different types and she's obsessed with all of them. But my favorite part about Open Farm is that it's humanely raised and sustainably sourced. This is important to me and it's shocking that are there very few dog food companies out there like you. Thank you.
The girls absolutely love your dry kibble and wet food. I have an extremely picky Bernese Mountain dog. She finishes her food every meal. This wet food goes great on top of the kibble with a little bone broth to extend the wet food.Normally we had some lingering in the bowl I would have to toss out previously.Thank you for taking time to make sure our fur babies get some nutritional food.
