I recently switched to open farm due to my dogs having the worst bowel movements. My smallest dog was actually having bloody stools. She was on a purina pro plan recommended by her vet. We struggled to find the right food since or Vizsla was a puppy. Thankfully our vet was also a Vizsla owner and suggested we remove all fowl from his diet. We did, and his skin and tummy trouble drastically improved. However the food was grain free and not the quality we wanted. At his yearly checkup our vet suggested we find a food with less legumes. We weren’t impressed with the food lines he suggested and after a lot of research we found Open Farm. It’s sourced with care and its high quality limited real ingredient. We took longer to transition because of his sensitive stomach and never had any issues. He poops less, eats more (never used to finish his food) and isn’t gassy. He loves it-bowl always empty!
I have two German Shepherds. Baron 5 Spectre 4. They were both on a kibble brand from Tractor Supply. During the winter months they started having skin issues that i've never witnessed before. Hair falling off their ears, hot spots, scabs from itching.I switched to Open Farm Salmon and during this first month i've seen an incredible difference. There itching way less, their skin spots are clearing up.Our only downfall is the kibble size for us. My pups are very large and the kibble size seems like it would be good size for our cat. Other than the kibble size, we love the results we are currently having.
