OPI Infinite Shine - Eternally Turquoise 15ml

Ok this is the shiniest non gel polished I have ever used! It lasts so so so long without even chipping. I love this metallic cap line because they truly are more shiny and gorgeous. It takes a couple minutes to dry, and like any other polish it smells like… well, nail polish. The packaging is simple and cute and I would 1000% recommend this.

I absolutely love this line! The shine is definitely there! Unfortunately I do reapply nail color every 3 days due to color always chipping at edges. I’m not sure if I need to apply it differently. I use primer, color and top coat. They have all the colors! I love the glitter colors the most.

Initially, I was a little daunted by the bold colour as I much prefer darker tones but this really is a beautiful shade for Autumn and I was bowled over with the pop of colour it added to my usually dark outfits. Application is easy and the coverage is great. I've found thin coats are key for a quick drying smudge free finish - I needed to switch things up after years of gel application. Things can get a little smudgey if the polish is applied to thick and given how good the coverage is, it's really isn't necessary. Two things layers are more than adequate and I'm currently chip free 6 days in. Overall strongly recommend, I'm investing in some more shades and waving goodbye to gels this Autumn/Winter.

Really good as a strengthener — I can really see/feel the difference after a couple weeks of use! Is shiny and sheer too! However — it is less good as a base coat. Even when leaving it an extremely long time to dry before adding colour polish and a top coat, my nail varnish chips quickly and easily. Usually my nail varnish lasts a week with only one or two chips. With this, my nail varnish is almost totally chipped after two days — to the extent where I just take it all off.

I purchased OPI because this was a widely carried brand in the nail salon I went to. Granted this is one of the most expensive nail polishes on the shelves, it is worth it. This polish is long lasting and not as easy to chip. The color is dense so you don’t need a ton of coats to make it look nice. It’s pretty quick drying and application the smooth. OPI has a ton of colors to choose from.

If you prep your nails right and use OPI base coat and top coat I got two weeks of wear out of this nail polish. I work full time and have a house to take care so my hands were washing dishes and cleaning and they still looked good after two weeks. If it wasn’t for the fact my nails were grown out I could of kept the polish on even longer. However if I just used basic base coat and top coat it was chipping the same day.

Great polish. It goes on smooth and dries fast. Most polishes I used are still soft for a long time and are easily dinged or smeared, even when they're dry to touch, but this polish doesn't have that problem. It's very hard to get off your skin, so if you're messy on application, it's going to be a pain getting it off. I did three coats and one (Sally Hansen) top coat. I still can't decide if this colour is purple or brown, you be the judge-- see photos. No filters used. The purple is in natural sunlight and the brown is indoor lighting.

The base coat was so easy to apply, followed by 2 coats of colour - I used Girl without limits, which is a gorgeous pink colour. Don't be too heavy handed with coats of colour. The instructions advise to wait 2 minutes before applying top coat over colour but I actually left the colour to dry a little longer and then applied 1 coat of top coat. I was surprised how quickly my nails dried and the end result was gorgeous colour with a glossy shine similar to shellac. The colour lasted for approx. 7 days before it started chipping, but I am quite hard on my nails. I have been using this nail polish from OPI for years. OPI Infinite Shine 2 is easy to apply with the perfect middle-size brush, my nails look like they were professionally done, and they last on my toenails for almost two weeks without cracking or chipping. The color is so intense that sometimes one coat will be enough. To remove it, I use an Aceton nail polish remover and a cotton pad, which make it so easy and fast. I love OPI nail polish, it's a great quality, and the brand has so many shades to choose from. I would recommend it.
