Used it this weekend to run 12 volt refrigerator freezer . Worked like a charm. It is now on the charger getting ready to go again. Refrigerator kept ice, cold drinks and fresh meats running off this battery 3 days no problem.

My battery died in traffic about a mile from auto zone. Am 60 year old disabled vet. Limped with my cane to the store. Picked out the new battery went to pay And my card was declined. Spent the next 2 hours almost on the phone with various people at suntrust who kept telling me my card did not exist. Finally got in touch with my son who paid for the new battery on his card Over the phone. Data loaded the battery up in a Delivery vehicle and gave me a ride back to my truck. Switch out my battery for the new one. Properly install the new battery And I followed him back to the store. He looked up the purchase from the dead battery found out it still had 2 days left on the warranty And refunded the money for that battery. Then he went out and tested my alternator. Optima does not offer a battery that fits 2005-2017 Ford Expeditions and F-150s. The Size D34-78 matches all the specs of the factory Ford battery but the size is smaller. I wanted the longevity of the Optima battery so I made a simple mod to my Expedition and it worked like a champ. I put a 2X4 at the skinny end of the battery and tray (cut it to size) made the battery fit snugly as it should. Then took a 1x2 and put it on the long side of the battery. Then I used the battery tie down that came with the battery. Works very, very well. I don't like to mod my vehicles but I wanted the best battery I could get and this was the only way. Maybe someday Optima will make a direct fit battery.

Wont hold a charge after 11 months. I cant get it to hold a charge past 10.5A . Ive tried every method to "wake it up" but nothing works. Also I dont have the receipt so the company doesnt even want to talk to me. Very sad and will never use this battery again
Initially, it was great. I could tell a big difference in starting my ford expedition. Drake's over faster and easier. However, it went bad in one year. I have had 3 optimal batteries in different automobiles, with no issues. 1 out of 4 is not bad, I guess?!
Lasted from 2016 to 2023. From 2019 to 2022 the JK (2010) wrangler was in storage, outdoors, without a tender. After returning to the US, I charged the battery and drove it across the country and had no issues. End of 2022 it drained and I charged it and used it through 2023 where it finally died again while out of town for 3 weeks. Could probably have charged it, but better to be safe and replace it at this point. I have plenty of accessories but no winch. Still, it cranks up strong and no signs of weak power.
I’ve ran two of these in my old Jeep that sees a lot of off road use, along with winching and has a decent sound system. I’ve left my radio going numerous times for hours with the Jeep off and never had an issue starting my Jeep back up. I’ve gotten just over 7 years out of the batteries before this very cold winter did them in.
Prior to this I was using a regular duralast and I’m driving a 01 ram 1500. Have after marker light pods and interior lights and an aftermarket sound system. Prior to this battery I would have bad voltage drop and flickering in lights. After upgrading to this battery along with a small big 3 I have more voltage then I have ever had. Good buy worth the money!
These are by far the best batteries on the market! They can be mounted upside down, backwards/reversed does not matter they are sealed tight. Heck there even use in the Spaceshuttle NASA, so there’s the assurance lol... my last blue-top deep cycle marie battery that I had in my 2005 Ford F250 superduty lasted from summer of 2009 till I just replaced it October 2020! That’s amazing. Truth be told I actually reconditioned that 11 year old battery myself and it’s back on the road in my other Ford! They keep on going.Thanks for reading, Zebulon Mann
So I have a 2003 Chevy Tahoe and it's loaded with aftermarket gear. I went to my neighborhood AutoZone and purchased a new Gold series Duralast battery but after installing and turning on some of my equipment such as stereo and amplifiers, I noticed my lights would dim during song play so I returned to the store and purchased the Optima AGM Yellowtop 6pack Battery. After installation I started turning on piece after piece of equipment and now with everything running at the same time I have absolutely no gade in my headlights and the truck stays at full power the entire time. I would recommend these batteries to anyone that like to dress up their vehicles with aftermarket accessories.
