Great projector so far. Bought it for the option of having 3D and HDR compatibility. 3D is amazing. HDR is good. Not a 4K projector so won’t get 4K quality but still looks great. I’ve tried out different projectors and this one seems to have the best picture quality if you want to just watch movies, which is what I use it for. For some reason the 4K projectors I tried out had great 4K picture but terrible 3D images. This one is great for both.

Running this projector on 150" screen right now and the color reproduction as well as inky blacks is great!I'm really impressed with the 3D function as well it runs it in full 1080p instead of downgraded to 720p like most other projectors...Refresh rate is top notch, no rainbows and low blurring on fast scenes...If your looking... consider this one! There is a laser bulb option with this same model style as well if your up to paying the extra cash...

Delivered per description. We use the projector mainly for outdoor movies. Easy connection via hdmi to computer or apple. Also has vga in/out. I like the fact that it has audio in/out. The speakers work, but leave a lot to be desired for a large outdoor venue. Obviously purchasing online to get a little better value for the money. Weve only had it for a couple weeks, but hopefully we will use it for several years into the future.
Works great for the space I have. You’ll want a short throw if you have less then 12 feet. This is set at 14 feet away from my screen. Using it for a golf simulator and haven’t had any issues.
I'd say this was a great projector for environments with ambient light around as it has a really bright output at 4000lm And crisp 1080p screen with vivid color HDR. Too bad I couldn't enjoy as tge one I ordered had vertical lines on the projection otherwise would've been 5 stars
Love this projector. Nice clear and bright image without breaking the bank. No complaints here.We've used it outside to project on a 16ft screen and it looked great! Plenty of brightness.
Amazing projector for the money. Colors are a little off, but I honestly have not spent a lot of time investigating color correction. Noise is very low. I had an Optima before this that lasted 19 years!!!!!!! So, brand loyalty is obvious.When I first hooked it up to the surround system, I had to mute the audio coming from the projector itself. Consequently, a mute icon in the upper right corner of the screen appeared- which I could not figure out, at first, how to get rid of. I then realized later on that I just needed to lower the volume to zero on the projector. But, this was very annoying at first, nothing in the manual helped, and I had to go searching all over the Internet to figure out what was wrong.The image is stunning, crystal clear, the details are ... MoreAmazing projector for the money. I've replaced the bulb, had it connected to a wide range of devices, and moved it with me to three different countries. It was a workhorse, and brilliant as an inexpensive and easy way to watch tv/movies on a big screen (normally one of the walls of my house with a flat white/off-white paint).Even with suboptimal screen conditions it always performed beautifully. Can I get better if I spend more? Sure! But I didn't want to spend more, and this projector was fantastic. Finally, it died and I decided to upgrade - and this newer generation of Optoma is SO MUCH BETTER.It's still dead easy to use, and has all the needed functions.
