purchased my Oral B pro 3 toothbrushes a few months ago and I couldn't be happier. There were two brushes and handles in the set and one charger. I kept the pink handle for myself and gave the black handle to my son. My toothbrush runs for about a week before it needs recharging which is excellent. It recharges easily and quickly via the charger supplied and I only needed to add a shaving plug. The brush has a few useful settings but I use the basic 1st one the most. It brushes my teeth extremely well and they are looking cleaner for it. My son is also happy with his and I consider it of very good value for two handles. I was so pleased in fact that I have purchased a second set.

To be honest... I always thought that only an a-hole would own a toothbrush that cost over $100. Well... I'm here to say that I was wrong. Very, very wrong. So what made me go back on my words? Well it was a combination of a sales and having some credit card rewards to use and decided to buy myself something that I wouldn't normally buy and I decided on this amazing toothbrush. This has a pressure sensor that gives you a visual notice through a light ring indicating if you are using too much pressure (red), not enough (blue), and just right (green). This model also connects to the Oral-B app that monitors your usage and provides reminders for things like when to replace the brush head. Most importantly though... This brush cleans so well that my teeth feel like I just left the dentists office after a cleaning. That's something I have never gotten from another brush - manual or the lower cost powered brushes.

Letās face it, an Oral B iO brush is an investment, but I got mine at a great price on Amazon with the option to spread payments over five months, so I thought, why not. Iāve used Oral B electric toothbrushes for well over 10yrs and been impressed with their cleaning ability from day one. Being honest, I thought iO was just a way to add a prestige line with too many fancy bells and whistles and an excuse make the brush heads even more expensive - and yes they are expensive, but after a couple of weeks use - Iām sold! The iO mechanism with oscillations and micro vibrations really is super smooth and feels very thorough compared to my previous Genius. The new smooth taper shape of the brush heads feels super-comfortable in every corner of the mouth. The handle feels slimmer - itās easier to hold and manipulate around the mouth and my teeth feel squeaky clean after brushing. Iāve a dental check up in a couple of months. Letās see if he comments. As for aesthetics and features: the handle and heads are beautifully designed and manufactures with a real premium feel. The iO6 and 7 are essentially the same as far as brush modes - and I think the five are a great collection. iO7 has the magnetic charging base - which gives the the option to treat yourself to a Charging Travel Case if you wish.I went for a traditional charging iO6 simply because I love the grey opal colour which looks so classy. Sadly iO7 doesnāt come in the grey. If you like one of the iO7 colours Iād probably choose that as it has a minor benefit or two: I think the magnetic charger will charge the handle faster; you can buy yourself that Charging Travel Case later, plus the standard travel case that comes with the iO7 is much nicer than the frankly cheap and nasty version that comes with the iO6. You donāt get the brush storage pod with the iO6 either, but I sourced both on eBay for a few quid to upgrade.I have seen people commenting on battery life. I donāt choose to keep my handle on constant charge, though it says you safely can without damaging the battery. I brush twice a day and notice you lose about 10% of charge with each session - that may be nothing new, but the new, beautiful display screen makes it more obvious by providing a percentage score rather than just a three blocks of light that were used to. Iām sole user of my brush, so charging/battery life is not an issue for me. It could be if I were on holiday for a couple of weeks as Iād have to take the charger just in case. Maybe a slim handle means a smaller battery. For me itās not a deal breaker. Bottom line. I think the iO8+ handles are too feature rich and consequently over priced, so think what you āreallyā need. If you want to invest in your tooth and gum health then I think the iO6/7 are a genuine advance and youāll feel the benefits. Get either at a really good price - half RRP is good and not uncommon - and you wonāt regret splashing the cash!

Absolute rubbish. They clean your teeth really well but they are impossible to charge. I've never had an issue charging a toothbrush before but these are a nightmare. You can leave them on charge for 24 hours and it still states 6% charge. It's so hit and miss whether they charge or not. More often than not I end up using a manual toothbrush because these despite being on charge for 12 hours still have less than 10% battery. The pink one is the worst one for this out of the two so I'm not sure if it's a manufacturing defect or not but as it stands they're a waste of time and money. Even when fully charged the battery life on them is terrible.
My dentist recently advised me to change my electric toothbrush from Philips sonicare to an Oral B brush. I chose this model from researching the different options within Oral B & then I saw it was on offer in Boots so it appeared to be a good choice for me. I've been using the toothbrush for over a month now & I'm not convinced I made a good decision. I had to restore the brush to factory settings a few time's in order for it to connect to the app initially & it froze a couple times on one cleaning setting & I couldn't change it so again had to restore it to factory settings. The connectivity to the app is not always accurate when I'm cleaning my teeth. I had to restore the brush to factory settings a few time's in order for it to connect to the app initially & it froze a couple times on one cleaning setting & I couldn't change it so again had to restore it to factory settings. The connectivity to the app is not always accurate when I'm cleaning my teeth. I found the brush heads quite harsh initially on my teeth & gums so have purchased the sensitive brush heads to use but I feel they do not give as good a clean so I swap the brush heads around. The brush heads feel quite chunky & I find it difficult to get around the back of my wisdom teeth but my dentist did say they are awkward to get too so I'm trying to persevere. Oral B claim a full charge would give around 2 weeks use I believe, but the battery life on this brush is nowhere near that! The brush takes ages to charge & by day 5 I've got less than 30% charge which is considerably worse than the Philips brush that I'd been using for about 4 years. The case that came with this brush is very cheap, not really worth providing & again not to the quality of the Philips case that I have. I paid a similar price for the Philips brush 4 years ago to the price I've recently paid for this Oral B due to the special offer in Boots & I thought the Oral B would be better because it's original selling price was £300. I think the Oral B is cleaning my teeth a little better than the Philips but I'm sure my dentist will give a better opinion when I see them at my next check up. Overall I'm disappointed with my choice but will have to continue using the brush because for me it was an expensive purchase & I've bought the additional brush heads too. I wouldn't recommend the brush & I'm very glad I did not pay the full advertised price for it.
I bought this about a month ago having lost my previous oral b toothbrush. This gives a great clean with numerous settings (very similar to the previous one) but overall Iām really struggling to see how itās an update. Firstly the battery life is terrible & worse than the older model; I brush my teeth for two mins twice a day & this doesnāt last a week, whereas the previous one lasted 10+ days even after 5+ yrs of daily use. This evening (day 6) the battery dropped from 42% to 9% - Iād expect a lot better given the price point & that itās brand new. Itās also a bit disappointing oralb have switched to more of a sonic head rather than keeping the rotating one, this is a personal preference but the huge price hike for replacement heads is frustrating. Good Points: I enjoy using the Bluetooth app. The brush has an interesting and helpful display. I get a reasonable clean. Quick to charge.Improvement Points: I find the brush heads far too large to reach round my wisdom teeth. Just impossible to clean there. There is a hole in the toothbrush head which allows foam and saliva to pass through whilst brushing, coating the handle and making it very slippy. Even after rinsing and washing the brush, there is a never ending amount still coming out. Just little things which completely ruin the satisfaction.Battery doesn't last very long. You'd need the charger on a week away.
Super good compromise for traditional Oscilation, Rotation - good alternative for too delicate Sonic Brush and too aggressive mechanical. I was searching long time. Last 7 years used Genius 9000 model. Good, but a bit noisy and too aggressive. I tried Sonic, - too delicate and missing rotation movements, what are super important in my opinion. Search the internet, and it is proven that only a combination of Rotation and oscillation is performing the best. Read some articles based on medical research not demagogical advertisements. eg. https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/24282870/
I bought this toothbrush in April. Iāve used it every day. Itās awful and I hate it. You have to tilt your head back and keep your mouth open- to keep spit and plaque from going absolutely everywhere. If you try to brush your teeth with your mouth closed like a normal person, yāknow, trying to keep splatter off the mirror, this toothbrush has a super fun āspit fountainā exploding feature that will leave your hand absolutely covered in spit. Not to mention it gets gross after just one use. After washing it and your hands off, it will leave a gross ring of water and toothpaste scum wherever you set it down even if youāve dried it off. If I could return this stupid thing and get a better model I would in a heartbeat. It sucks. I spent over a hundred dollars on a toothbrush and it disappoints me every single day twice per day. Donāt buy this toothbrush, save your money.
I purchased this product in Feb/Mar 23 and in May 23 it already had defects. I simply want to brush my teeth and most days it won't turn on without me placing it on the charger even with the battery at 90 percent. Then when it does come on, it stays on for maybe 1 or 2 seconds. I cannot brush my teeth like this. Then it comes on and tells me that a replacement refill is needed; however, I've already input a replacement head. when I select yes that a replacement was applied, it gives me a smiley face then asks me the same question when it powers off and powers on again. Its very frustrating as this toothbrush was too expensive not to make it through six months. I need this to be replaced
