The instructions are folded similar to the package inserts of medications (correspondingly difficult to fold again). When unfolded, it becomes as large and unwieldy as a daily newspaper, which I do not like. Please rather a small "booklet" to turn the pages.The charger "Type 3757" is the same as in older Oral B model series. A quick charge is not possible with it, but so several family members can share a charging station, even if they have different toothbrushes and you do not have to have 3 or 4 pieces constantly standing around somewhere in the bathroom / connected to a socket. More vibration, less "mechanical shaking or rotating" as with previous electric toothbrushes. The noise is also more of a "buzz", the toothbrush doesn't sound as mechanical. The volume is lower than previous rotating Oral-B toothbrushes, but louder than a sonic toothbrush. Sonic toothbrushes have a higher frequency, the iO a lower "buzz" sound.The battery lasts me about 1.5 weeks, but I also clean rather 2 1/2 minutes, not just 2.The cleaning performance is very good, my teeth feel smoother after brushing than with "Sensi UltraThin" brushes (for the conventional Oral-B series). However, I find the latter "more pleasant" in the mouth, they are smaller than the new iO attachment brushes, more precise to guide in the mouth and even a little gentler on the gums. However, the "Sensi UltraThin" brushes have a problem with metal abrasion! No matter with which toothpaste, even with extra low abrasion, with the "Sensi UltraThin" brushes it always came with me at some point to a gray, metallic-tasting contamination when brushing, that was really not nice. I hope this problem no longer occurs with the iO brushes. I will probably try another "iO Gentle Cleaning" brush. Only apparently they don't come in black? And the prices for these brushes are still too high.Very successful is the pressure control, it is not only colored on the LED ring signaled when you press too hard, but also when the pressure is too low or just right!What I miss is a display of the active mode. The mode button toggles through the different modes, but you don't get any visual feedback as to which mode you're in. Especially between "Daily Cleaning" and "Sensitive", the difference is also not immediately audible or noticeable. You can actually only "feel" the "Brighten" mode directly, since the vibration strength "pulsates" here (becomes more and less). However, if you have also deactivated this mode in the settings (because you only want to use "Daily Cleaning" and "Sensitive", for example), then it is really difficult to determine which of the modes you are now in. The LED in the mode selection button can light up yellow to indicate that the brush head should be replaced. Can't this LED be used to indicate the different modes of operation with different colors? That would make much more sense.The app is quite handy to configure the toothbrush according to personal preferences (e.g. adjust length of brushing time, or disable brushing modes you don't want to use at all). However, the whole "gamification" with "medals" that you get goes too far for me. That's probably more for kids, I'd like to be able to turn that off in the options. If you use the app during the brushing process, you can also see the set mode there - but that must also be visible on the handpiece, because I will not take the smartphone with me into the bathroom every time I brush my teeth and turn on extra Bluetooth and the location, and always reconnect the toothbrush with the app - that is much too annoying / costs too much time. In some places, the app suddenly displays texts in ENGLISH, which of course should not be.Overall, the iO Series 4 offers some improvements over the previous electric toothbrushes - but it can not yet fully convince because of the unclear operation (without app) and the rather high price.

However, it is possible to calculate the modes, since the brush always starts at mode 1 for daily cleaning after every start (perhaps you could take a leaf out of the book of other models and use small symbols and LEDs in the free space on the handpiece to distinguish the modes).- the battery display can unfortunately only distinguish between full (lit white) and almost empty (lit red) and so the toothbrush can sometimes go out with some bad luck during brushing (perhaps a kind of traffic light system or a differentiated display with three subdivisions à la full / half full / empty would be more helpful, so that the toothbrush does not always have to be permanently on the charge just in terms of sustainability)- on some pictures a possible storage place for the brushes was shown, which is unfortunately not included in the scope of delivery so that due to the beveled shape and the special size of the brushes no suitable place for storage can be found (the travel case can be alienated for this purpose, but I hope that such an accessory will soon come on the market)- the brushes are still relatively expensive compared to other models due to their new technology (perhaps a subscription model or bulk packs could make it cheaper)- in the beginning, the toothbrush might be too intensive for newcomers and also the risk of getting soaked with toothpaste until you have learned how to use the toothbrush properly is relatively high in the beginning (maybe you should recommend everyone to put a towel around and start with the sensitive brush head & the mode sensitive or maybe you could also create a small tutorial for this)Despite these suggestions for improvement, no other toothbrush comes into question for me, because the cleaning performance and the mouth feel are so convincing and manage to make brushing teeth a real fun event.

My mouth is smaller so I have trouble with toothbrushes that have large Toothbrush heads. This toothbrush head is absolutely the perfect size. The bristles are soft and not hard at all. I do not have to put in much effort to clean my teeth the tooth brush does most of the work for me. My mouth feels very clean, my breath smells amazing and my teeth look super white. I really like that this Oral-B toothbrush comes with an Oral-B app for brush tracking. Inside the box you not only get the toothbrush but you also receive a white travel case that makes it perfect for on the go or traveling. The charger is very simple to use it comes attached to the plug and the charger port for the toothbrush to sit on. The toothbrush has four smart modes so that you’re able to use the mode that you feel is best for cleaning your teeth. Eight alternated between mode because I felt like it cleaned my teeth the best way. This is a great toothbrush I truly like everything about it I have no complaints whatsoever. this is the first toothbrush I’ve used that makes me feel like I just had a professional cleaning done on my teeth. To me that is worth every penny. I have very sensitive teeth so I cannot use white strips anymore and this toothbrush has literally whitened my teeth more in a few days then whitening strips have done in a week. The proportions are similar to mine, but there is no metal post sticking out of the top and the brush is shaped with a sloping body to keep it cleaner. Also the body is one continuous surface with out edges and plastic grips, so it stays cleaner and is easier to clean. You can download an Oral-B App to track your brushing and control the modes. It is good information, but my daughter didn't appreciate the dried toothpaste on her iphone! So that may have to wait for later. There is a 2 year warranty in the USA. My granddaughter got her first permanent tooth, so this was a great time to encourage her to be more diligent to keep her teeth and gums clean and bacteria free. We all use Oral-B electric toothbrushes in our family and highly recommend them to all our friends.
