A water flosser is the best thing you can do for your oral hygiene. This is Oral-AB’s portable version, but as long as you are flossing with something (ideally a water pick) you are less likely to get cavities and can save a lot of $$$ down the line

I have been using floss picks for many years because I have wires on the back of my teeth after getting my braces taken off. Conventional floss would not work. The picks are great but the cost adds up. I was so happy to receive this water flosser. Water Pressure, it's all about water pressure! I owned an older version of the Oxyjet and was very pleased with it. The pressure was enough to blast food particles stuck between your teeth, but if that was too strong you could turn the pressure down to suit. This new oxyjet barely tickles your teeth. I am not sure if it's the pump's fault or the new replacement jets that came with it.

Oxyjet irrigatior (device) removes loose food particles from teeth crevasses where toothbrushes cannot reach. Device works well. I use this device before using my electric toothbrush with fluoride toothpaste.
This is the 2nd Oxyjet the first lasting well over 20 years - super machine.The price from the Shaver Shop being 50% cheaper than any other Retailer was extremely pleasing.Thank youV. Miller
I have for the past decade used the Braun combination brush and water-pik with great admiration. I was unable to locate a replacement so bought the Oxyjet on its own without the toothbrush. Weak as dishwater it is. The force of the jet of water is not anywhere near that of my previous aged appliance. NOt even worth bothering with as an agent for cleaning debris from between teeth or plaque from teeth.
This is my fifth oxyjet, I have been using this system for around twelve years or longer, I have periodontal problems & believe that my gums have remained stable due to using the oxyjet twice daily, this product was recommended to me by my dentist many years ago! However, there is a weakness in the tubing system which is plastic & over a period of time it weakens, leading to leakage. I have recently purchased a new oxyjet & I believe that it is not running to it's full capacity on level 5, I am unable to send it back, because my gums deteriorate within days & it's better than nothing. I have tried other types of irrigation systems & they are not as efficient.
