For the past few years I have suffered with swollen sore gums despite my high level oral hygiene routine. I had the opportunity to try out Oral B's Sensitivity and Gum Calm Original toothpaste and was hopeful that it would assist with my ongoing problem.The toothpaste is pleasant in taste with its mild mint flavour and it offers the right amount of foam. I attended a routine dental appointment a couple of days ago and mentioned to my dentist that I had been using this product and he commented that the surface of my gums looked healthy and pink, which is not something my dentist has said to me for a long time.I use the toothpaste morning and evening and sometimes after lunch and with regular use it has significantly improved the appearance of my gums as well as alleviating the discomfort and soreness which is no longer present.This toothpaste has most definitely exceeded my expectations and will become a firm product in my oral care routine. After yet another trip to the dentist and suffering long term from dental issues my dentist recommended this product as an acceptable priced option, she believed that it would help with some of my problems and reduce my stress! Best advice my dentist has given me, Oral B has come up trumps again! After using this toothpaste for only one week my gums were significantly improved, less aggravated and whole mouth felt much better! The feeling it left after brushing was good too and the minty flavour was not too overpowering! Overall a nice little product and money well spent!

After years of taking a mixture of daily medication the enamel on my teeth has started to wear thin leaving my teeth extremely sensitive and my gums really sore. However, the biggest test was still to try, how would this toothpaste act when i have a hot cup of coffee and a frozen Ice-pop? As i took a mouthful of hot coffee i waited anxiously for the pain to start in my teeth....,but nothing! Next the Ice-pop, and again nothing!! I honestly cannot remember the last time i actually drank a HOT cup of coffee, i usually have to wait and wait until it goes luke warm. This toothpaste is a miracle in a tube and has made a huge difference for me. Priced at £5 it is worth every penny, so if you’re one of these people who suffer with sensitive teeth and gums and find toothpastes too strong I would strongly recommend giving this toothpaste a try and hopefully like me, it will improve the sensitivity of your teeth, letting you enjoy the foods/drinks that you love once again!! I often get sensitive teeth and was delighted to be offered a chance to take part in the trial of this product. (Oral B sensitivity and gum calm.)I have also distributed samples to others who have similar sensitivity and have taken on board their feedback too in this review.Initially I was impressed with how quickly the product helped to give relief. I would say I felt a 50% improvement within 24 hours and a further significant and rapid improvement such that after about 3-4 days my symptoms were at least 90% better. Having now used it continuously for almost 3 weeks I rarely feel any sensitivity at all now though if I eat something very cold I still get a bit of a reaction. I find it not particularly refreshing compared to other toothpastes. It doesn’t leave my mouth feeling minty fresh and my breath doesn’t feel as fresh. My wife says it isn’t as nice to kiss me! Iasked if this was a problem for others and most agreed.So I would continue to use this toothpaste as the improvement is significant but it could be improved further by making it more minty flavoured rather than tasting like bubble gum.

I have an appointment soon with my dentist, so hoping they will be pleased with the state of my mouth. I have spoken to those I gave the samples to and the feedback has been mostly good, "the flavour is mild and refreshing", "I like the flavour" "My teeth felt refreshing after using it" "left my mouth feeling cold" "sore gums not so sore after using it", "wish the coupon had been to use in a supermarket, rather than online". "I don't shop much online, so couldn't use the voucher". I think I will buy this toothpaste in the future, especially if I see it on offer, as £4-5 for a tube is a lot more than I would normally spend on a tube of toothpaste for myself.
Honestly, I cannot express how much this toothpaste has helped me since I started using it. I get a lot of sensitivity especially where I have a couple of teeth clustered together as such.I’d get a lot of pain and sensitivity in the gum and teeth because of the gap and area when eating and drinking alongside general biting on an ice lolly and getting an awful uncomfortable sensitivity sensation.Since using it; the pain I get in the cluster has virtually gone.And I can now eat an ice lolly no sensitivity at all!!It’s amazingI can now enjoy the things I would have to struggle with on a whim before.I like the taste, it foams well and my teeth feel really polished and clean after.
