This is a great pedal for playing in stereo and amp splitting. It sorted out the phase out of phase issue i had with a press of a button. Also buffers the sound so your not losing tone from long cables to from pedals to amp. Did the job really well reduced the noise etc. Super robust unit. Access to the battery could have been easier though. Compared to other splitter pedals this was way more affordable and realistic and all round better.

Love it! Does exactly what it's supposed to do, no noise, no pops, no tone suck. Very reasonable price. My one issue is I wish it had separate indicator lights for what output(s) are on. But that's so minor.

I bought the Orange Amp Detonator to crank two small 20w amps for more grunt. What's better is that I can blend two tonally disparate amps to create another sound altogether. The thing I feared most (like I do with all pedals) is the phenomenon of "tone suck" where the engaged pedal flattens a normally vibrant sound. Nothing like that with this baby. It is easy to use with different coloured lights to keep you reminded of what mode you are in ie both amps, amp a only, amp b only etc. Plus it is Orange so it looks damn cool too. Love it. Recommend it.

I needed a pedal to split my guitar signal to a bass amp where I am running an Octave and looper pedal. It’s a simple thing but allows me to keep the rhythm loops isolated from my lead signal where I am running different effects through a Fender Princeton Reverb. I’m very happy with the result. It took me only about 15 minutes to do a quick set up. Now that I am ready I can do a proper set up for live performances.
Plug and play, very efficient ABY pedal. Silent switching, no noise issues. It keeps its promises at a fair price. Orange did it great once again!
I bought this to experiment with a wet-dry amp set-up. I have a Princeton and a Boss Katana and the Detonator works brilliantly to allow me to use both amps together. It’s simple to understand and set up and includes a phase switch which is essential to avoid an "out of phase" problem. Construction wise it feels bomb proof and it's easy to toggle between settings. Overall, a great bit of kit.
Great pedal for the price - looks good, sturdy build and works exactly as described. Simple to use and the phase switch enables the combination of amps effectively to create a superb wall of tone!
