Orange Rocker 32 Combo Guitar Amp

$1,500.00

(70 reviews)

New for 2017 is the Orange Rocker 32 combo amp, a tube 2x10” combo that’s two channels, switchable between 30/15/7.5 watts, and a mono OR stereo effects loop that lets you really open up the potential of your stereo effects and have all your pedals in stereo between the two 10” speakers. If you’re into epic panning delays and massive soundscapes, connect the Rocker 32 for full stereo operation for enormously spatial tones that wash over the audience. If you’re more old-school, you can patch your pedals in ‘wet/dry’ mode, with your effects appearing on one speaker and your clean guitar tone on the other. This makes for great separation and clarity on stage. The front end of the Rocker 32 is one-of-a-kind. The Natural channel features just one control (Volume), and has been carefully voiced to bring out every nuance of different guitars, pickups and pedal combinations. There is plenty of clean headroom here but this channel also loves to be hit with overdrive and distortion stomps. The Dirty channel has a more familiar look to it with a three band EQ, gain and master volume controls, and can be set clean or adjusted for different flavors of British crunch. There’s also a handy half power mode to drop the volume level if you like to push the EL84 output valves a bit harder for more saturation. This switches the Rocker 32 from the full 30 Watts (15W a side) down to a more home-friendly 15 Watts (7W a side).

This amp is great and not all drive. The cleans on this thing sound really. I also like things that are super straightforward and easy, so the one knob is really great. This amp also crunched hard! From classic rock to metal you can achieve it. The stereo is awesome for recording. Not so much in a live setting, unless you have another amp. And the one down side to this amp is the input jacks for the effects loops are in the back underneath. More of a pain to set up but not a huge deal. If you’re looking for a classic rocker amp that allows you to experiment and get weird this is the amp for you!

I've owned this amp for a little under 30 days now and must say I'm as pleased as I had hoped I would be. The two 10" speakers are fantastic, offering a nice, tight low end response at bedroom or louder volumes. Construction is noticeably better than what I'm used to seeing, say from moderately priced Fender Tube amps. Though I love the simplicity in this amp, I just love the Stereo Effects Loop...It does some gnarly sounding stuff with my Line 6 HX Effects, which is great considering that's why I chose this amp after months of research.I'm a big fan of that British tone. I've owned more American than British, but keep going back to British Amplifiers and I'll tell ya, I'm staying put! I mean, really? Could have at least thrown a slip in the box. But honestly if it performs as it should for years to come, who cares. That isn't going to make me send it back by a long shot.I'm VERY, VERY HAPPY with this little guy and I cannot wait to put it on full power and crank it!

A really big surprise for me especially owning a rock a verb mock to 100 white head and also the orange crush pro 120 Combo. This combo amp really shines I can tell you now that I most love the blues, and this and can really go into a beautiful blues setting. The stereo feature can be used with an overdrive and a reverb which issues out that Bonamassa sound. It really shines this and really shines in the blue section I have to take my hat off to orange at this point for the ease-of-use, the quality, and the sound of this rocker 32. It's a real trick pony. The package itself is compact, and definitely you can play this amp live it's loud even at 15 Watts. Orange amps really outdid themselves this time.

I can't say anything bad about this amp. Maybe if you're using the dirt channel for your high gain it does have that orange fuzz thing going on but there's no need for that with the clean channel and pedals. And it takes about any pedal you throw at it. If you're experienced in time based effects and stereo setups, the effects loop eliminates the use for a second amp. I use a 16 ohm- 12 inch speaker cab to replace one of the voice of the world speakers and spread it out about 20 ft. Absolutely beautiful sounding delays or any other time based effects. I've had old fender tube amps, Marshall, you name it, and this amp is hands down my favorite. Light, powerful enough to keep up with my band mates ( who could care less about their hearing) and sounds amazing! Just get ... MoreI can't say anything bad about this amp. Using this amp primarily with a PRS McCarty 594 and it continues to amaze me more the longer I own with it... the natural channel is clear, bright and balanced. I can easily dial the overdrive to the distortion needed to cover Deep Purple, AC/DC stuff and dial it down for classic softer stuff like Allman Bros and. Fleetwood Mac. Haven't even begun to see everything that could be done with the effects loop... wah and delay pedals sound fantastic... very full with the double voice of the world stereo speakers. Both channels are plenty loud for gigging in smaller venues... even with drums. Effects loop in/out could be more accessible as they are tucked up inside the back... just a minor issue though. This amp is beefy, feels like it could take a beating . Sound:The tone from this amp is really nice. I cannot express how satisfied I am with the sound and power of this amplifier. I play in my garage, and I wanted to be able to hear the full tones of the guitar and notes being played, and I got all of that and then some. I never plan to play for an audience, but this amp is well capable of supporting a live show. I have always had it at the half power setting for my application, and knowing I can double that output gives me comfort knowing I will never need to buy another amp again.Features:The send receive makes for sweet reverb / modulation effects to be heard in stereo from the combo box is incredible. I plan to add a 1x12 Orange cabinet to the setup soon for the added spatial sounds.Ease of Use:This amp sounds amazing! 3 - 4 volume setting in my garage is about all I can push without being to disturbing, but the more power you give it, the better it sounds! seriously, this is a remarkable sounding amplifier.Quality:Rock Solid build and I think this will last for the rest of my life.Value:Would I have liked to get the amp for less than $1000.00 , sure.. but at $1099.00 at the time I purchased it , I cannot complain at ALL. It has exceeded my expectations and set a bar of expectation if I even need to purchase another amplifier againManufacturer Support:No need for supportThe Wow Factor:The amp looks awesome. I have the Black framed version, and I love the look.Overall:I have not purchased many amps in my life, so lets just say I went "big" on this purchase. I must say that my expectation level was exceeded by the Quality of the Orange Rocker32. The sound is clean and loud. The dirty channel is my favorite, and you can tweak it to sound really nice and warm, or you can crank the gain and get this thing to really growl. So far I have played a Epi Les Paul with a pair of Humbuckers, and I was blown away by what I heard! I since added some Seymore Duncan Antiquity Texas Hot SC Pickup set to an old Squier guitar I picked up, and HOLY COW! This amp DELIVERS!

I had been looking at a new tube amp and had a couple different amps in mind. My local GC is rather small but on a recent trip to the Chicago area I stumbled across one of these in the wild. I really like how simple the clean channel is with just a volume control, but allows the true sound of the guitar to shine through. great tone but it needs pedals

I live alone in a big house. I don't need it to be whisper quiet but I didn't want the neighbors calling the cops either. It has a pretty great sound at very low volume. if you crank the gain it breaks up nicely and stays tight. it doesn't quite chug for a metal sound but its close. I had to buy this amp without ever hearing it because no one has it in stock. It really needs pedals to shine. I am running a Boss RV6 reverb/delay in the effects loop with an OD-3 and GE-7 in front. gain in the 6-8 range give a pretty great blues sound and kick in the OD3 to step it up. you NEED the EQ pedal for the clean channel! "natural" may be great for some things but its very bland and mediocre for a guitar tone. the amp has a LOT of character. I LOVE the dirty channel! it is FAT!

Just picked this up new. I was swapping back an evh 5150 head and prs stealth 212 cab (god that thing was sweet), because it didn't take my helix line 6 very well in the 4 cable method. I was trying out a mesa solo rectifier 112 combo, a vox AC 30 and this amp. The cleans of an AC30 are my favorite of the three, and the mesa certainly had more chunk on the distortion channel than the other two (although that evh through the prs cab was simply another world better than any of these three amps). The rocker 32 however had a pretty nice clean sound, if inflexible (no tone control at all), and about as much drive as an or15(one of my favorite amps). You can get some serviceable metal tones, although I'm sure a speaker upgrade might do wonders for the tone of the amp. ... MoreJust picked this up new. You can get some serviceable metal tones, although I'm sure a speaker upgrade might do wonders for the tone of the amp. It's just extremely versatile and flexible, I prefer to get my gain from my amp, then maybe throw an 808 in front of the amp, I'm not a huge fan of distortion pedals. NOW onto why this amp was such a must have. This amp will make your effects sound studio quality. No more worrying about mixing in your effects loop or a dropoff in volume. Your delays will sound utterly pristine, without and kinda gunk added on in the fx loop. it will simply bring your effects to life, and the stereo effect really can add quite element to your live playing. The speakers need to be upgraded, but at a pricepoint of 1100, they had to cut corners somewhere on a 30 watt 2x10 amp. This might not be your go to amp for tone when recording, or an absolute thumper for live metal shows, but if you're an effect junkie, this is a loud enough, versatile enough amp that is a must have for you. Absolute perfect combo for my line 6 helix
