Fitted the orbit tap timer several weeks ago. Easy to program and so far, it has been very reliable. Given the fact that the hot weather has arrived, the Orbit timer has made life so much easier with watering the garden, due to its set and forget reliability. Also, the finished product is of good quality and well priced.

Also, the finished product is of good quality and well priced.
Easy to set up and program. One touch button to get a manual flow with no need to reset to automatic again. Instructons clear. (One problem - the unit's tap connector was for a small diameter tap. No adapter is possible with the existing brass fitting. I had to install the unit as an inline attachment to a hose. ) Previous paragraph was in error. I found the large size tap connector which was so snugly fitted that I did not see it until I disconnected to move to onother location. Now award 5 stars.
I have used the Orbit Tap timer for over 5 years now at my home, and had no hesitation purchasing the same unit for my son's garden. It is reliable and simple to use. I have it connected to an irrigation system so my garden is auto watered in the early hours of the morning. Highly recommend.

After buying 5 unbranded timers identical to the ORBIT, and ending up with numerous dead plants, I did what I should have done in the first place - bought the ORBIT timers. So easy to set up, run as programmed, and have the facility to do a manual run for the set run time. They're very sturdy & I have no doubt that they will stand up to our weather conditions.
I was impressed with the build quality and ease of use with this product. Unfortunatley, the first unit i received failed within 2 days of use. Warranty response howevr was excellent and a replacement unit was received quickly. The replacement unit has been vey good. I like the quality and usability of the unit.
Having tried and failed miserably with many other makes of water timers, thank God I found this one. Simple and logical to program and setup and it just works and that's all I want and never got. Really well made which equals its performance
This is a basic tap irrigation controller that works well and is simple; you just have to apply teflon tape to avoid leaks.
