Orbit 62120 Garden Enforcer Motion Activated Sprinkler, Black

The Garden Enforcer is just what I needed to keep out the deer, woodchucks and raccoons. Big problem with the German Shepard though, she loves sprinklers. She has figured out the process of turning it on. Not good for the corn when she runs up to the Enforcer, but she is trainable. No leaks, unlike some of the reviews I looked at prior to my purchase. Assembly was very simple, the dog could have assembled it if she had thumbs. The Enforcer was on my porch in three days from ordering it. BUY ONE!!!

So far, this is working. All summer, I have been able to keep deer away from flowers they otherwise would destroy. The day/night choice is a big improvement over competing impact sprinkler repellants, particularly in a residential neighborhood or near water (sunlight on rippling water can trigger the sensor; neighbors on the sidewalk can be frightened away, too). I have 3 of these, two of the short versions on stakes and this one on the tripod. Only criticism is in the distance controls which seem to be ineffective (the button on top) and difficult to turn and flimsy (the knurl nut on the side).

Most importantly, the tripod Enforcer Motion Activated Sprinkler does an effective job keeping the geese off my lake property frontage. I have 5 of these units running off a shallow well pump from the lake.
