I purchased this for cold water swimming to go under my wetsuit. It goes on easily without the need for lubrication and keeps my core toasty warm. I could stay in 5 degrees C water for a lot longer with this on. I think it will be great for cooler spring/summer swims by itself as well.

I purchased this for cold water swimming to go under my wetsuit. It goes on easily without the need for lubrication and keeps my core toasty warm. I could stay in 5 degrees C water for a lot longer with this on. I think it will be great for cooler spring/summer swims by itself as well.
What a great piece of kit. I was so amazed how warm it kept me when swimming the waters of Loch Linnhe. I was very surprised how light the Orca Heatseeker vest is but is so effective. It was like being encased in a wall of hot water bottles and I felt quite hot in the water. It has been such a good way to upgrade my Orca Open Water Core wet suit. I so regret not having discovered the heatseeker vest before. I strongly recommend it to anyone who wants to upgrade their wet suit especially if they are not able to afford a winter wet suit.
