Oribe - Shampoo For Beautiful Color

I used this shampoo for years along with the matching conditioner. Although pricey it is hands down the best shampoo for colored hair. My hair is dark brunette naturally and I went totally blonde in my early 30s for about 5/6 years, had root color ever 6 weeks w/ complimentary highlights throughout as needed. My hair was certainly processed but this shampoo along with the conditioner kept my blonde bright and beautiful - it’s not a purple shampoo specifically for blonde, I think this would work wonders on any color treated hair. My hair was never dry or dull and always manageable. I had little to no damage/split ends/breakage, I give credit to my stylist for being a master colorist but also for using this shampoo and oribe’s entire product line. Huge fan. BEST EVER!

I absolutely LOVE these products. Just purchased the liter size in both the Shampoo and Conditioner for Beautiful Color. My hair is fine, shoulder length with highlights and most products make my hair flat, weighed down or oily looking after the second day. I am literally washing my hair TWICE A WEEK without ever get oily or flat. It doesn’t take much. I just work it through my wet hair, add a little water, and it sudses up nicely and rinses out well. Next, work in conditioner and leave that on while I finish showering and rinse well at the end. I’m getting lots of compliments on my hair! I also use the Dry Texturizing Spray and the Superfine Hair Spray. All great products!

Beautiful Hair vs Magnificent Volume

I have been using Oribe Magnificent Volume shampoo for years, and have raved about it to everyone. I have fine hair and it has been the best volumizing shampoo that I have ever tried. When Oribe had their once a year sale a few weeks ago, , I ordered a Liter of what I thought was my favorite shampoo! I had accidentally ordered Beautiful Color. I actually have colored my hair with blonde highlights for years, but I have always felt it was better to concentrate on the volume than the color. I used the color shampoo, and must say my hair came out very nicely after two washings. I expected my hair to be flat, but it definitely has volume. I was expecting to have to give the liter away, but it appears to be working well. I also have used volumizing conditioner, Gold Lust conditioner, maximista and volumista styling sprays. The only product that I’ve tried that was absolutely the wrong product for fine hair was the sample I chose when I ordered the Liter was Royal Blowout for heat styling. It made my hair completely flat and looked greasy right after I washed my hair. At first I thought it the the new Beautiful Color shampoo, but I realized it was Royal Blowout. I usually take the advice of my stylists for the best products for fine hair, which is how I learned about Oribe, but I ordered the sample of the Royal Blowout on my own, not knowing it would not be good for my hair. Overall, as I have done for years, I highly recommend Oribe, it’s a wonderful company!!

Does what it says

This shampoo smells amazing! The bottle is well made and constructed and looks very fancy in my bath tub. Now- the price of this thing is insane! Many say that all you need is a dime size, which may be thr case if you have short hair however, if you have long (waist length) hair like me, then you'll definitely use a lot each time you shampoo. I bought this in combination with the conditioner and they work amazing together. Really does make my hair look and feel thick and full. Lastly, I most likely won't splurge on this again due to price point and because it caused me tons of dandruff! Never in my life had I had dandruffn sonI'm not sure what ingredient in this shampoo triggered my dry scalp. I can't return it because I threw the boxes away before I even tried it smh.

I love Oribe shampoos

I purchased this color safe shampoo based on the recommendations on beauty professionals in my area, and also because I am a big fan of Oribe products. I started using Oribe products when I went to a salon that used Oribe and pretty much all the products that I’ve used I have liked. I purchased this particular shampoo because I get highlights, and I wanted to prolong the life of my color gloss.I am a fan of Oribe and have other Oribe shampoos to compare it with, and I sometimes mix it with the Oribe Moisture and Control Shampoo in the green bottle and the Oribe Gold Lust Shampoo in the black and white bottle. I personally prefer the moisture and hydration from the other two shampoos that I mentioned compared to this shampoo, but I do like the shampoo a lot.I do feel that the Moisture and Control Shampoo does provide a lot of moisture and hydration, I have that masque too and love it. The Oribe Gold Lust is good for damaged hair or when trying to prevent split ends. The shampoo for the blonde hair is also a great shampoo, which a hairstylist used on me for years and I recommended to a family member. I think Oribe products are excellent and I have been pleased with most Oribe products that I purchased.I recently switched to using this shampoo and other Oribe shampoos from the Olaplex shampoo and it is definitely worth the extra money! The products are a little expensive, although they are the best quality of any other beauty products which I have purchased. The products are vegan and cruelty free. I will re-purchase this product again in the future!

I'm in Love with this Shampoo!😍

The only disappointment is that the pump dispenser doesn't work. On a bottle this big, you really need one. It's hard to get a good grip on it in the shower. I'm going to Walmart or Dollar General to find a smaller bottle to put it in. I'm very impressed with the packaging it came in! The bottle was nestled snuggly in a box that was inside another box, that was wrapped in several layers of bubble wrap, inside a large padded UPS envelope. It was intact, nothing spilled or leaking!👍🏻 And, of course, I love the Oribe shampoo! 😍 It smells so good! My hair is soft, shiny and doesn't tangle, which is important with long hair! It does cost more, but I budget for it because my hair does so much better with Oribe.

My favourite conditioner

I have only been having my hair coloured for 2 years and tried many shampoos and conditioners for coloured hair. I have found Oribe for beautiful colour leaves my hair soft and in wonderful condition. I started buying the range for colour protection but find the most obvious benefit is the softness it provides. With other shampoo and conditioners for coloured hair I was having to add lots of conditioning oil to get rid of the dryness, this then gave me greasy hair that needed washing more often. I will continue buying Oribe and will not need to try out any more brands! The only thing I would wish is that SpaceNK would sell the 1L refill packs for the shampoo and conditioner, as they are a few pounds cheaper.

Overrated

I don't get the hype at all. Doesn't smell nice, scent is very artificial and makes me not looking forward to use this conditioner. I have fine hair due to chemical treatments and oily scalp, so I prefer lightweight products. This is very lightweight and watery, the plus is that it's easy to wash off quickly and doesn't weight down the hair. Had I had thicker hair, this conditioner would not be enough for me. Doesn't detangle hair enough and I have to use detangling spray afterwards. I'll only use this bottle and reach for something else.

I have tried quite a number of luxury shampoos, including quite a few of Oribe's. Oribe's Shampoo for Beautiful Colour is one of the best I have used, and is one I cannot do without. It seems to hit the golden mean in so many ways. It cleanses without stripping the hair of its moisture, is of perfect consistency (neither too runny or too thick), smells beautiful, and does seem to do exactly what it claims. I wash my hair everyday and use demi-permanent colour. With this shampoo, I am confident that my colour is hardly affected at all; in fact with the shampoo (and especially when I use its' matching masque) I see the colour deepened and almost darkened and the hair feels rejuvenated. So glad I found this

I have been looking for a good color-conserve shampoo. Not impressed with versions of all those professional hair care brands. I stumbled and found this one from Oribe which carries no "color conserve" in its name. But after several use over the last two weeks. I am sold and happy with the effect. It keeps the hair voluminous and most important, not drying while shampooing and after rinse. We all know how dyed hair tends to be dry. But this product is amazing. WIll be my signature color conserve shampoo after each dye.
