I’ve wanted a Bambino for a while, and finally decided to buy this version. Its as good as they say. Well made, the automatic movement is very quiet, which is unusual for a competitively priced watch. The face definitely has the ‘WOW’ factor with Roman numerals and ‘blued’ hands. There are some negatives however. Firstly the strap lets it down, so I’m going to replace it with an expanding strap to reflect the 1940’s look. The date is white whist the face is cream/ivory. This is understandable in order to keep the price down, but is still unsightly. Just one word of advice - check the dates of public holidays in Singapore. Normally Creation Watches arrive within 72 hours of placing the order, however, because of the holiday it took an extra day. Not important in the overall scheme of things, but if you want a watch for a special event or as a birthday gift where the delivery date is crucial, it’s something to be aware of. Because of the strap I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5, but nevertheless in spite of the strap issue I’m now going to buy the Rose Gold version model number FAC00002W0, but will replace the strap on delivery.

Amazing piece

The watch is amazing! In size it is on the upper border of a normal dress watch. The hands are going from blue to black, depending on the lightning. On the sides it is brushed steel, so that it does not make itself noticeable by reflecting light from below the sides of your sleeves. The strap is of nice leather, soft on the inside. Do know that the strap itself makes the watch scream "I am a dress watch". See, the strap changes its colouring from black to deep brown with hints of burgundy on direct sunlight, but the real "issue" with the strap is that in real live it is shinier than what you see on pictures. It is exactly this shiny burgundy strap that yells "I am a dress watch". Also know that the strap is stiffer than normal, with me having issues putting it in ... MoreThe watch is amazing! Classy and beautiful, if not just a touch too big.

I personally feel a dress watch should hover around 38mm. The Bambino is 40mm. However, considering everything else that you get in this package (surprisingly accurate Japanese in house hand windable/hackable automatic movement, domed Crystal, beautiful applied Roman numeral indices, etc) the added 2mm is definitely worth it! To my delight, the Japanese in house automatic movement is quite accurate, only being usually about 5 to 6 seconds off (usually too fast) from my personal experience. You should consider a higher quality leather strap that tapers off toward the buckle for a classier and more elegant feel and look. I will absolutely be purchasing another Orient in the (hopefully near) future! They have won me over 100% ... Excellent watch for the price!

The watch has a beautiful design especially with those blue (painted) hands. The movement has been great and my piece is running at +7 seconds per day! The polishing and brushing is amazing. Very excellent build quality overall. I’m very pleased with the product. The only downside would be the strap. I’m not a big fan of the super shiny strap and it is quite stiff but it’ll mold to your wrist no problem. I had to change mien to a lighter brown one but that’s just my preference and you might actually like the stock strap itself.I’d recommend you get this watch if it has been on your mind. It's a decent looking watch

The quality of the watch looks good. I like the antique vibe. I have not worn it enough to give a complete review. I did notice that the time and date were way off after setting it and then wearing the watch a few days later. Could e user error. I'll keep an eye on it.

Just what I was searching for in a watch

I like everything about this watch, except for one minor detail. The cream colored dial, the blued hands, everything has a vintage look. Kind of reminds me of an old watch that my dad wore. The one minor negative is that the date window is small and hard to read clearly. I don't wear this as a dress watch, it is worn daily. It is a great value...hard to believe that it can be sold at its current price.

Love at first sight

I recently got introduced to the Orient brand and really liked their look and designs. While browsing through the website I saw the beige "Bambino" and fell in love with it. At that point the watch was out of stock so starting visiting the site on almost daily basis to see when it will be available again and before you know it I was able to purchase it. Ordering of the watch was smooth and received it before the ETA given by courier. This is now my main dress watch. Everyone who sees the watch compliment it. The beige dial with blue hands and roman numerals works so beautifully together. The leather strap is a bit stiff but obviously with time it should loosen up. Looking forward to owning it for years and buying other Orient watches.

Really bad customer service experience

I just got off the phone with a manager of customer by the name of James. I called because I am interested in a watch the "Bambino", champagne color with blue handles, and black leather straps. James begins to tell me that it's not in stock, then says they won't get a shipment of the watch until mid June 2023. That's fine. I ask if they can provide with a discount since they don't have the watch in stock. He said no. I said can you notify when you receive it. He said no. But told me to go online to get a notice for when it came in. I asked can you offer me the same discount for a purchase when you receive the watch. He said no. I ask to speak with his supervisor he said he's the manager of customer service and no on else can speak you. I receive this sales discount t and probably a hundred other ones, which I told James and said other companies don't offer discounts on items they don't have which is a lot and really bad customer service. Orient watches you can do better than James.

The Great Bambino

Gorgeous watch. I've had it a couple of weeks now. I didn't measure a whole day of accuracy until yesterday because I forgot it had the hacking feature (which is easy to forget at this price). It was about 4 seconds slow in 24 hours. That seems really good, especially for this price. The blue hands are subtle and pretty and as I don't like my complications too "complicated," I like that the date at 3:00 is subtle as well. And the tiny dot of red above the name is a nice touch.It's hard for me to comment on customer service because the transaction was basically click "complete purchase" and wait three days until it arrived. Very smooth. Arrived fast. I paid maybe $10 more to buy it from LIW because LIW has a stellar rep and my peace-of-mind is worth more than ... MoreGorgeous watch. I've had it a couple of weeks now.
