HS graduation gift for a lad, hoping to spark an interest in watches. Love the color ( black to green depending on light) and the wearability of a 38mm case on his medium-sized wrist. I think we've got a new enthusiast here.
I bought this watch for daily wear.. something solid and quality, but not going to break the bank if it gets a scratch or damage. The watch is smaller than my normal styles.. but still grabs the eye with is classic look. Function is perfect.. and its much lighter in weight than the automatic 42mms I am used to. A huge win.. I will be buying more Seiko's!

Looks much better in person than I expected. Nice, deep green colour that goes well with most outfits, giving off a Rolex "Hulk" Submariner vibe. Very happy with my choice.
The watch itself is fine and so far has kept good time. However, the band fell apart almost immediately due to poor design of the pin fasteners and had to be taken to a jewelers to be repaired. Almost certainly will need a new band.
