I got this because I always have sore chapped lips and I wanted to give this a try after hearing great things about it. After a few weeks of using it, I can confirm that it does give a instant feeling of relief but does not last very long. I find myself having to reapply very often which can be annoying. Other than that it does keep my lips moisturized and has made them much softer I will be updating on this product again after I begin accutane. We will see if this product truly does help the bad chapped lips that come with taking accutane

I always use to buy this for my very chapped lips, and thought it felt nice and hydrating. I also loved that is came in different formats. But every time I would use this, the next morning I would wake up with whiteheads around my lips. I never understood why this happened to me and it may be I was just someone more prone to acne there. That was until I learned this contained Lanolin known to be an irritating ingredient. Once I switched to a different petrolatum the problem went away. This is still a great product to use in your hands and legs I just would never use on my chapped lips.

I havent used this ointment on other healing wounds, but I used it on my fresh tattoo for the first three days. I basically started out applying it three times a day after washing my tattoo. This product was recommended by my tattoo artist to me. Personally, I can see how this ointment heal wounds, but I felt like this wasnt moisturizing for me enough. However, I still think it had an important role in my tattoo healing. I eventually switched to a lotion after three days that felt more moisturizing.

This stuff is gold My son gets eczema patched on his legs since he was a small baby. Our pediatrician recommended this ointment to us. It creates a moisture barrier and protects the area. It really helps soothe irritated patches and helps with healing. Its also great on dry heels. Put some on the affected area, put on socks and go to sleep. Within a few days, the drycracked spots are so much better.

Ive always been a HUGE fan of this product. Ever since I burned my lips in the tanning bed 10 years ago I use this on my lips every single night. Its so moisturizing and I wake up not feeling like I need to down a bottle of water on my lips. BUT I also used this with my last tattoo for the first couple days and it was horrendous. I have very sensitive skin but since I use it everyday on my lips I thought it would be fine. I definitely have an allergic reaction or some type of skin reaction to it. This was my 5th tattoo and I never have bad reactions and this was my first time using aquaphor on a fresh tattoo. Sooooo its great for some things but if you have super sensitive skin like me maybe pass for a tattoo.

Regardless, I dont like the bad to me ingredients, so I only use this brand sometimes in the winter on my feet at night before I put socks on. I understand that many people love it and so many people in my FB beauty groups recommend it, but if Im going to use a product like this, I personally use Waxalene or Egyptian Magic, which are natural alternatives that I actually like even better. This is my thrird tube and i am planning to buy another one when running out. I found this product because my friends tattoo artist recomended it to him for the after care of his tattoos. He told him that it help to heal the skin, so i saw the reviews online and people were raving about how good it was for pamper rash and cracked lips. Since i moved from a tropical country to a cold one, my nose and lips where SO dry and craked to the point of bleeading, but since i am using this products, it is not a problem any more. It is the BEST STUFF EVER for craked skin. It last for so long too, not like those lip oils that absorb into your lips whitin an hours. This last like 4 hours while wearing my mask and the whole night while sleeping. I love it.

I tried expensive eye creams to see if it will help with the redness and dryness, it didnt work. I tried putting on castor oil, it didnt work I mean it helped grow my lashes, but not heal my red dry eyelids. I tried eye masks, didnt work. My eyelids made my eyes look like during the summer time when people are having allergies.
