Origins A Perfect World SPF 40 Age-Defense Moisturizer with White Tea 50ml

What are my thoughts for this product? The cream is heavier in texture compared to other products, it doesn't necessarily feel thick and heavy, but it does leave somewhat of a mild greasy residue. I noticed that the cream gives the skin a bright sheen (just as it claims to do) after application and leaves the skin feeling soft once it has been absorbed into the skin. It also sits well underneath make up and I did not notice a white cast with flash photography either, which is also nice considering the high SPF it contains. The moisturizer itself does have a light sun screeny scent to it. Either way, the scent definitely disappears very quickly after applying. Furthermore, my skin did not break out from using this product and I found it to be gentle enough that even those individuals with sensitive skin can use. The only concern I had with this product was that it did not give me the level of moisture I was looking for. This is definitely not a night time moisturizer by any means and was definitely designed as a day time moisturizer. As I mentioned previously, I tend to have more drier patches in the winter months and this did not give me the amount of hydration I was hoping for this time of the year. However, for those with combination or oily skin types, perhaps would find this level of hydration to be enough. Having said that, I can see myself using this product more so in the summer time when I know I will be spending lots of time outside and I am not looking for an intense hydration. Overall, it is a decent day time moisturizer, but I don’t see myself reaching for it too often (depending on the season) simply because it doesn’t meet my skin’s needs.

A Perfect World SPF 40

I prefer my daytime moisturizer to be with SPF. But it's very hard to find good cream with SPF that doesn't make my face feel greasy. Origins A Perfect World is not an exception. SPF in it makes it heavy on my face. It is still better then some other moisturizers. The cream is rich and smooth. It absorbs well. It smells pleasantly like a white tea, not too strong. And the scent goes away quickly after applying. This cream is better for summer use with high SPF. In winter my skin absorbed it fast and was still thirsty for more moisturizer.

First spf moisturiser

This is my first moisturiser and I have been using it for almost 2 years know. I am a 32 year old male of south asain decent and this cream has gone above and beyond my expectations! I use it every morning before I heard out. Most days it's provides me with an amazing glow and sink into my skin type effortlessly; although I have learnt after my second/third use that you actually don't need much of it as it's thicker that your average cream due to it being a spf cream. I also purchase a tub or 2 ever Black Friday weekend as they get discounted then so I save a few quid.

I have always used this technique regardless of the cream I have been using.I have acne prone skin and have had no issue with this product because I cleanse/wash my face every day, and it is great to know I have a good SPF on my skin.I would really recommend this product, but treat it like an SPF first and moisturiser second.

I really like this!

I'm 50 yo and when I was a teenager and through my early 30's, my skin was very oily. But as I get older, my skin changed (and continues to change) to now having normal in some parts, dry in other areas and oily only on my foread near the hairline. I usually stick to Korean sunscreens because they are pretty amazing compared to the ones made in US and other countries.I had tried so many sunscreens but none compares to the Korean sunscreens. However I tried this for the first time past week and I was pleasantly surprised. On my skin, this didnt feel greasy, oily, or heavy feeling at all. Leaves My Dry Skin Horribly Greasy

Despite that I have dry skin (age 55 post menopause), this leaves my skin very greasy. I wanted an Origins day moisturizer with 40+ SPF, which is recommended by my facialist. She said a higher SPF is critical for aging skin that is losing collagen like mine. Well that's great except that this leaves a greasy shiny finish to my skin which not only looks horrible, I can't put make up. If I wait several minutes, like 15-20 minutes, then it starts to soak in. But its still challenging to get my make up to look right. I'm guessing that is why this moisturizer is priced like is 2019 at $54, not $75 in 2024. Bummed I called Origins customer service and they were not willing to exchange the item.

My all time favorite, been using it for years !

I've been recommended this product by a Sephora employee the first time I visited a shop many years ago and it is the main reason I became a regular customer. I've been using it everyday for many years and it does miracles for my dry and flaky skin. The sps protector included is also very useful, one less step to do every morning. It does leave a white film at first when you put it on but it disappears really quickly. A little bit goes a long way and I find myself needing just 3 for a year of everyday use which does not seams like a lot compared to other creams I used before.

Not for me

I have used White tea products for years! I was excited to try this one.I finished my usual moisturizer before using the new product. It is not for me as it is too heavy and feels odd on my skin! It is difficult to put on any other makeup after that is applied. I gave up using it after about a week. I just received the tinted moisturizer so I will try it and hope for a better response! I wish I could return it as it was expensive!

Used to like it, but formula has changed for the worst.

I have been using Origins products for several years and had purchased this product in the past. I stopped using it for a while because I received the Mega-Bright SPF 30 Moisturizer during a promotion and was using that instead (that product is great). But, I recently reordered this product (the SPF 40 Age-Defense Moisturizer with White Tea), and the new jar of this moisturizers is probably the worst skincare product I've ever purchased from anywhere. I don't know if they changed the formula since the last time I bought this. This moisturizer made my skin break out, it makes my skin look greasy, and it's not moisturizing at all -- my skin feels drier after I put it on. Don't waste your money on this. I'm going to look elsewhere for a replacement.
