Origins Super Spot Remover Blemish Treatment Gel 10 ml

Well I do not have a big acne problem just once in a while one pimple or two, so I bought this just in case I would need some help. I can say it works but because it has just a concentrated salicylic acid it might be irritating for a sensitive skin. Doesn't contain parabens, propylene glycol or mineral oils. Description says apply a thin layer 1-3 times daily or as needed and if you will do it,this will work. If drying or peeling occurs, reduce application to 1 time a day. Do not expect a big difference after one application. Definitely give it some time to start working. I normally use this on my face area that breaks out frequently. I just applied a very thin layer in that area. I find it helps to dry out my oily zone, I have a super oily T-Zone. Helpful to treat acne and blackheads, makes them less visible. I have to use it before moisturizer though so it will cuts the excess oil on my face. I always keep it in the fridge so that it could slightly tighten my pores when I use it. It does have a burn feeling when I applied it, but it could be because I have a very sensitive skin. The bottle is incredibly small, I just wish they didn’t make the bottle so tiny for the price. I have to admit that this has done me WONDERS. I've been using this product for years, however it's just as effective as it was when I was a teen.I am getting closer to my mid-20s now and this product saved me throughout my breakouts. I still do have breakouts there and then, but once I do put it on the acne fades within a few days. The negative side is that it DRIES out your skin. So, I highly recommend investing in a "Hydrating Moisturizer." I'd also like to point out that this product doesn't fade the acne scars either, but that doesn't bother me at all. I only bought it for the intention to remove acne, I just had to focus on both rehydrating my skin and using serums for the hyperpigmentation afterwards. Cleared up almost all my hormonal acne in 3 weeks!

Works great! Definitely give it a few weeks before making a judgement. I get random flare-ups or hormonal acne that attacks my entire jawline/cheeks and it just grows and grows once it starts.Within 3 weeks, over half of the acne spots are gone, and all of them are faded. I have one little patch that is resilient, but you can tell that it's losing the battle.It doesn't feel too drying, and I definitely use alot right now. I've used about 25% of the bottle in a week, so it doesn't last too long BUT like I said, I'm using a ton all over my face to clear it up. Once it's cleared up and I use it as an occasional spot treatment, it'll definitely last longer. Cleared up my hormonal acne

I very rarely review products but I had to take the time to review this one. I've been struggling with hormonal pregnancy acne for 5 months and NOTHING helped. This stuff cleared it up in a week, and I even saw results overnight. A little goes a long way. Some people say salicylic acid isn't safe for pregnancy but my doctor said it's safe for topical use (not safe for ingestion). I'm SO glad I found this product! Now I really do have that pregnancy glow I've been waiting for!

Do not use if you have/have had sensitive skin

I wouldn't even say I have sensitive skin with all the potent things I've had prescribed over the years from my GP and dermatology. I've used this a couple of times on spots as targeted spot treatment and each time I feel like where I've applied it is on fire. My skin goes bright red and swells up with the smallest dot of product.Tonight I've used a small dot on a spot on my lip and I can't even begin to describe how painful it is. I've washed it off and my lip is burning and tingling all at the same time. I'm sitting nursing a very swollen top lip that is very very painful.Do not use if you have or have ever had sensitive skin. It's a love hate

I never get acne, so I'm not sure on the lifespan of a pimple but when I do I use this. It goes away in 1 or 2 days. I love it. I only wear it at night so it's not on very long. Once it dries it is a little hard to wash off, A good scrub is needed. I do like the size of the bottle because it's relatively small and is easy to travel with. Again I absolutely love this product. But...I have very sensitive skin. I can't even use makeup removal. This product burned, it burn in bad tingling. It's horrible. But it works so all I can say is beauty is pain.But if I ever hang out with someone and they have acne I'll always take this with me. Gotta spread the joy

Literal Life Saver

Two weeks ago, I had the worst breakout of my entire life. My skin is not usually prone to breaking out, however on lower left half of my face and my entire chin I had the worst breakout. I was already an avid lover of Origins as a brand so I thought I’d give their acne focused line a try. I used the spot treatment in combination with the pore purifying toner, a moisturiser and the checks and balances face wash and I was amazed at the results. Also remember to wear sunscreen when going outside after/during usage of this product because the salicylic acid can cause some irritation, burning and hyperpigmentation when exposed to sunlight.

This really does work!

I had a pimple on my nose that popped up 2 weeks ago and didn't go away -like a family member who shows up at your door and overstays their welcome. I tried salicylic acid from The Ordinary, but that didn't attack this pimple. So, I bought this Super Spot Remover and let me tell you, it does work. It is a really thick serum so a little dab goes a long way. I applied it and I could feel it tingling straight away. It dried up so the serum doesn't stay slick on your face. This pimple is finally going away! Hurray! This is now my new go to whenever these darn pimples want to pop up on my skin. Thank you Origins! My nose thanks you too. The bottle is tiny, but this will last for quite some time.
