Ortofon - Concorde MKII Club Twin
Redesigned from the ground up, the Concorde Club cartridge features a more robust stylus tip with larger cutout, as well as a replaceable textured grip and handle. The Concorde Club cartridge ensures the best possible sound quality for pure vinyl playback and offers increased output voltage for a powerful, energetic sound. The Club's elliptical stylus tip provides superior audio, and really holds the groove for outstanding tracking and stability. It also produces an impressive 8m V output and 20Hz–20k Hz frequency response for uncompromising sound quality with excellent low end. Easy connectivity to the tonearm makes setup quick and easy in any performance scenario. The Concorde Club's larger cutout lets you see precisely where you're putting the needle down, even in low-light conditions where DJs often find themselves working. When you're deep in the mix, cueing up your next track or sample, every second counts. You can't afford to waste time guessing where the needle is going to touch the record. Likewise, you want to see with a quick glance how far way that drop—or the end of the track—is from your needle. Since the launch of the original Concorde cartridges more than 25 years ago, DJs have embraced the convenience, sound quality, and industrial design of the Concorde. With the launch of the Concorde Mkii, Ortofon has listened to the demands of vinyl DJs of all types to develop a superior cartridge series with an unprecedented level of durability, groove holding, and sound quality.

Over rated product - play x2 12” records of the same track ( Blue Monday -New Order) & spin the same time on x2 Technics 1200 , 1 with the entry level Green Concorde Mix cartridge V the Club version - You’ll be lucky to hear a significant difference in sound quality ,Maybe 20% better quality which does not justify the additional 75% $$$ outlay .Yes , the spherical stylus sits more into groove of record & you do experience a more “expansive” analogue sound - NOT ENOUGH to justify the extra $$$$ . Over rated as are Ortofon cartridges V a Shure or Old Skool 70s/ 80s cartridge

Buying myself new decks I had to buy myself new cartridges. I read a lot of reviews and opted for these. Absolute quality sound. The only downside but not any fault of the cartridge is that because the needle shape fits the groove very well so, what I thought were clean records, more dirt is being scraped out. But the sound is amazing and quality feels very very good but then I would expect that from a pair that cost ÂŁ235

These are well worth the money. I’ve upgraded from the Mix and the difference is really noticeable which I wasn’t expecting!
After Stanton no longer provided replacements for my Groovemaster II RMs I had to buy new carts. I wanted a similar concorde-shaped design with elliptical styli so it was a no-brainer to buy these. Compared to my Groovemaster the sound is actually better, a lot more cleaner on the highs for a clearer sound. I am very happy. However, my packaging was not factory sealed so I emailed DJ Kit and they offered me £20 back which I declined and asked for £50 or a replacement styli to the same value which they accepted and sent out to me free. Shipping is next day.
sound and track great, better than old concordeshowever, one needle after approx 20 records, failed. fortunately, I had bought two spare needles as was playing out at VW festival, quick change resolved problem.will see if I can exchange broken needle for new one as faultyRich
A much more detailed sound. Highs are amazing and the bass is less boomy and warmer. A much fuller all round sound.A massive improvement to my old concord Pros.
It was time for me to replace my old needles. I have a pair of the older Concorde Pro S and a Stanton 520 SK DJ Craze on my 3 table setup. I have been having trouble with the sound bleeding from my one table I use for archiving, so I figured it was time to upgrade anyway. So far I am loving the sound of these needles. I shared my purchase with my friends, and numerous friends said it was smart purchase and shared their love of them. I highly recommend these.
I've used the Ortofon Concorde Pro for more then 10 years. I wanted to try something else. Sound is defenitely better then before. More details in the high and the bass sounds better. The volume is also louder. A little bit more sensitive for scratches records. Some records skip where they don't skip with the Ortofon Pro.
These are not my first Ortofon carts and are just what I expected them to be - high quality, loud and accurate. They're elyptical so not meant for scratching and shouldn't be scratched with but they have other advantages over spherical styluses like the more detailed sound.
