Handy pack for emergencies. There’s almost nothing more annoying than having a jagged nail! Normally I would use a metal or glass nail file which are strong and durable. But occasionally you don’t have them with you, and this handy pack of nail files will definitely do the trick in an ‘emergency’ so you don’t have that annoying jagged edge catching on everything. As mentioned by others, you get what you pay for, and these files won’t last too long but will do the trick when needed.

Better alternatives available. My mother would always have an emery board lying around so she could smooth out the ends of her nails. They were very good and she taught me how I could shape my nails with them. I am not very impressed with this Oscar Orsen brand as they are too rough on my nails, even though I am fortunate enough to have strong nails. Even the more gentler side of this emery board is strong and I will only be using that side. A little trick that my mother taught me was to tap the file on the bench to dislodge the nail dust from it. This allows the board to be used a number of times before having to throw it out and extends the life of it. Sturdy and flexible. Love these. At first glance I thought they may be too thick however they are perfect. The coarse side is not too harsh like some I've used and the fine side is not quite as fine as others I've used. The board is flexible to get right into the corners under the nail and does a fine job. I tried to break one by bending it almost in half and it didn't break, just the 'sandpaper' top broke so it is still useable. Will purchase these when I need some more. Thank you for the opportunity to try themSummary : Good quality emery board at a very good price and recommend to anyone who manicures their own nails.

Long lasting. A reasonable price at $2. 00 for 10 dual sided emery boards. The emery boards were not flimsy & long lasting. They didn’t fall apart like some do. Made well. A popular product as there were none in stock at my local Woolies when I first tried to get one. Easy to find in store. Made in Chine unfortunately. Great & convenient size to have handy in your handbag, whilst travelling or any place you like.
Reasonable for the price! I had not noticed this product in store before specifically looking for it. The product did what it’s intended to do which is file nails. I usually use a glass file which cost $25. I still prefer the glass file however, I have spent quite a few dollars on replacing the glass files as they break very easily. So I did like that these would not break, that they were very reasonably priced and worked quite well being fairly study as opposed to floppy and weak. Would re-purchase.
Good value. I always like to have an emery board on hand. They are distributed around the house and I always carry one in my handbag, in the car and in my desk at work. They are very good value and do the job for which they are intended, very well. The only issue I had with them is the packaging. The pack itself is fine but they are joined together in a bundle with a length of sticky tape. I couldn't undo them and had to resort to a knife to separate the bundle. No big deal but the tape is not needed in my opinion. Will definitely buy these again
Economical. I was looking forward to trying this because I am a natural long-nail, self-manicure fanatic and always like discovering a good product at a cheaper price. These quick disposable emery boards aren't bad for the price of $2, but you definitely get what you pay for. Was challenging to locate in-store, even staff had difficulty. It was difficult to remove the sticky tape from the ten stack after easily opening the packet. I found the emery board board itself sturdy enough and sufficiently flexible. The grey emery side seemed to blunt down and become unusable a lot quicker than the tan side. The tan side didn't smooth off and finish the nail, and left a rough unsmooth edge which is a big no-no when it comes to nail care and maintenance. These would be a good ... MoreEconomical. These would be a good boards to keep in random places, and at the price it's at, you wouldn't worry about losing it, leaving it, throwing it, or giving it away. Not for me, but thank you Woolworths for letting me try the product, I have given the remaining emery boards to others.
Not the best for my nails. Most of us know how difficult it can be to pick up small items when you haven't got finger nails long enough. My nails are very disappointing despite regular attention and unfortunately these emery boards were not ideal for my weak nails. Fine is not fine enough for me. I can't complain about the price or the size - economical and handy. Generally emery boards are much too expensive for what you get. I purchase the better known brands but only when they're on special. These will be used for emergencies or in my handbag.
Does the job. I do not usually use emery board, I use a glass nail file. I would have preferred a resealable pack instead of a tear off the top. When opened the boards were held together with tape which was hard to remove and tore in the process. The boards themselves are good to use and not too thin. Instructions for use are very good. Made in ChinaCard is recycle and Film return to store which are both excellent. Thank you WW and Bunch for this sample. They will last me for a very long time and as I don't normally buy emery boards so I will not be purchasing these.
Great for an Nail Emergency. These little packs are easy to find on the shelf. They are great value if you are buying disposable emery boards. I prefer a good quality nail file however these are great if this is what you are after. I found the boards to be quite sturdy and the sandpaper able to smooth the rough edges after clipping my nails. I would use these if I did not have my nail file handy. You could keep them in your car, handbag or even a drawer at work. I would recommend these to anyone who wanted an emery board.
