No nails flying up into your face! In-built nail catcher - game changer. Although I think I nearly broke the nail catcher initially wondering how it came apart! I ended up just levering a bit of it which seemed to allow the clippings to drop into the bin. Only used on my 9yr old son's toenails, so review is based on cutting a smaller person's toenails. The cutter was sharp and easy to use. I used the edge of the flip out nail file to clean the grot from under the corners of his nails. So based on all of that, top marks for this product.

These clippers are great! Thought it was a nice surprise to receive these as a sample, they're one of those mysterious things in our household that always seem to go amiss! I really like the super straight cutting edge to prevent ingrown, have never seen this before always a slight curve. The BEST part is the black plastic trim which at first I thought was silly until I realised it actually allows you to catch the trimmings and put them in the bin rather than them flying every which way. I like the file too, quite sharp/stiff but was first time using.

Did the job. Clipping toenails doesn't excite me at the best of times, and getting the job done in a pre-work rush, in the dim light of a pre-dawn weekday, and even worse, in a pre-caffinated state, does not bode well for quality reviewing. What I can confidently say, however, is this: they did the job. I can't ask for more than that. My only problem with the clippers was working out how the nail catchers work, something which probably had less to do with the design and more to do with the condition of this reviewer's mental faculties at the time. (Refer to paragraph 1. ) And the best thing about this episode? It's over and done with for another 4 weeks!! Hooray!

Surprisingly strong. These came at a perfect time, I had a big toenail that desperately needed trimming. My nails are incredibly tough and hard to cut but these clippers made the task quite easy compared to my last set. The only drawback for me is that they are straight, it says to prevent ingrown nails but I like mine rounded regardless. Good price, good strong product. If they die, I will purchase again.

Cut well, fabulous area to catch nail clippings. For me the highlight of these nail clippers is that they catch the bits you cut off. I looked at them and was trying to work out how to empty out the bits of nail and there was no obvious way. After I cut my nails, with no pieces flying off and no mess, I just turned the clippers over with the cutting end pointing down and all the nail clippings came out. Wonderful! They are straight edged so good to prevent ingrown toenails. As they are bigger they make it easier to cut hard toe nails. I haven’t used such a big pair previously, nor straight edged, so they felt quite different, but not in a bad way. I just need to get used to them and will continue to use them.

Handy! We received this just at a time when everyone’s toenails were looking a little like Mr Burns’ in the Howard Hughes style episode! These made short work of my thick nails. The clippers feel solid in your hand, The clipper edge seems sharp, and the little plastic shield on the side to catch the clippings is an innovative idea. They were clipped short and neat in no time. I won’t share a picture because no one needs to see my hobbit feet. Miss 6 let me do her nails as well, and they handled her smaller nails perfectly as well.

Sturdy clippers. These toenail clippers were sturdier than I expected, I thought they would be lightweight and flimsy but they seem quite solid. A little difficult to find, eventually tracked them down hidden away on the bottom shelf with no price tag displayed. A lot of other reviews have mentioned the clippers were quite sharp - I didn’t really find this, they were perfectly fine for most fingernails and my toenails but not for tougher nails, such as my husband’s. I lost the end of my thumb many years ago, the nail eventually grew back thicker and quite tough. The clippers really struggled and I could only snip off very narrow pieces of nail each time, took several passes across the entire nail before it was finished, whereas a much smaller set of clippers cuts ... MoreSturdy clippers. I still prefer using scissors to cut my toenails so would probably only use these for fingernails. I wasn’t really a fan of the “catcher”, it made it a little difficult to clear the pieces of nail out.

Of the Highest Quality! When I was younger, we never had toenail clippers, only fingernail clippers and for our toenails, our family used nail scissors. So this was a little strange for me at first, using the clippers for my toenails, but after a while I got used to it. These were pretty good. Fairly sharp and was able to cut clean lines. They aren't cheaply made either, they're actually pretty good quality and I'm impressed! I would definitely recommend them to friends and family!

Great and sharp. This toenail clipper was super sharp and great to cut my thick toenails (especially the one on my thumb). The built in nail filer is handy as I use it after cutting to make sure all edges are neat and filed. Also found the nail catcher to be extremely useful. No more nails flying around! Although it also got in the way while cutting several times. This product is at the bottom of the shelf in store and is usually quite hard to find.

Great for ogre toes! The packaging was very easy to open which was a nice change from the usual hard plastic, thick cardboard beauty products are often packaged in. These clippers are great quality, they're a sturdy construction, all parts moved with easy. Nice and sharp with a catcher for nails, using the catcher did take a little getting use to. My daughter commented “these new clippers are really good for my ogre toes, Mummy” The other kiddos agreed, even my fussy one. (They’re clipped regularly but at clipping time I jokingly tell them ‘pew eeew you all have stinky little ogre toes!!’ then tickle their feet a little which makes them giggle. ) It was certainly nice to not have to vac up little bits of escaped ‘ogre toenails’ off the bathroom floor. The retail price of $4. 50 is fantastic. I’m so happy with the clippers I purchased another pair for my partner. Will definitely purchase again in the future.
