I bought this to try out the premium brand and I was quite disappointed to find it full of sand. Compost should be full of organic matter. I should have known something was wrong when the bag weighed heavier than it should have. Wish I had taken photos.

I bought this product to improve my garden bed prior to planting my vegetables. Together with the soil and matured manure, the bed was rejuvenated prior to planting my strawberries and zucchini, giving me great crops.
Great product. I had two lettuce plant, one planted in normal soil one planted with compost. The growth we are seeing is amazing
I have bought three different brands of compost from Bunnings. This one is the most expensive and also the best quality amongst them. It is worth to pay an extra $1 or $2.
The king (or queen) of compost without a skerrick (is that a word?) of a doubt. It's simply the best compost going round. Your flowers will flower, your climbers will climb, and your veggies will veg all season long. You'll be kicking yourself if you use anything else. Get some now!!
Tried this out as I wanted to avoid the common complaint of wood mulch and rocks for the cheaper composts. But after opening this bag, I found wood chips in various sizes and stones within this compost. After screening, I had a bucket of wood chips and stones, and a piece of copper tube (maybe it's organic?).I would have liked it to be without these items for the premium price. If this is normal for all composts I will just stick with the cheaper ones if I will need to screen anyhow. Looked good all cleaned up so hopefully it works well for my plants.I'd also like if it gave a chart on the bag of the actual amounts of the additives included in the mix so you know how much fertilizer, wetting agent, gypsum and growth stimulants is actually added.
Used to be a great product, but not any longer. Contains far too many wood chips. Won’t be buying this product any longer. All Osmocote soils have now contain fat too many wood chips. Won’t be buying any of their products in the future.
I use this to top up the growing medium in my raised vegetable planters each year. I’ve had considerable success and have been able to plant every planter year on year without any detrimental impact on the quality of the produce.
