This backpack was for my wife. I love Osprey and know it is bulletproof. Plus their warranty is incredible. I look forward to using with her this Summer is Utah.

... first time backpacking trip

I used this bag for my first time backpacking trip (Lost Coast) and fell in love with it, so i bought one. I have taken this bag to several backpacking trips from overnighters to multi day trips. The compartments are very useful; you can tell that someone at Osprey sat down and really thought about the placement of the compartments and pockets. The bag is also very durable, and it also looks pretty stylish. I recommend this bag for any beginner backpacker - it is obviously a bit pricier than the other brands here on Amazon, but think of it as an investment! This bag will last you forever.

As good as every other Osprey pack I've owned!

I am in love. This pack is amazing; high quality, comfortable, cute...totally perfect for our 7 day hike along the PCT this summer! It's very roomy, plenty of space for all the essentials. Good pack, but fits large.

Bought a year ago, used for a handful of overnight ski tours. Good features, as you can read, but pack fits large. Torso range is not as broad as Osprey advertises. Too big for my ~17” torso, though specs specify pack can fit a 15.5-19+” torso.Traded in for Osprey Kyte XS with more features & rain cover included.

Great Pack

This is a great pack fit for any size with the great adjustable back support system. There are great zippers and seams, and the material is very durable. At this price you cannot get another back like it. It doesn't come with a rain cover but at that price ill buy one.

Hiking happiness

I used the pack for a few short overnight trips. It was highly adjustable and had a comfortable fit. The twenty-five pounds of gear easily fit inside and felt well-balanced. Mountain High Outfitters delivered exactly what they offered with fast shipping. I recommend the pack and company.

Lots of space and carries well

This is my first internal frame pack. In fact, it's my first new backpack in over 20 years! So, in reality, anything might feel better than my old external frame Kelty. So far I've only loaded it with about 20 lbs of gear to get it fitted properly, but it felt like there was nothing in it. I love how adjustable it is. I purchased the 65 to give myself the option of carrying more gear for longer trips and was quite please that there was very little difference in weight for the larger pack. I'm looking forward to trying it out on a few section hikes of the AT this summer.

Very adjustable and nice and light but not fussed on the side pockets which are so tight when the bag is packed that I can barely use them. Useless for a drink bottle to use on the go. Hopefully they will stretch over time

The last backpack you'll ever have to get

Moosejaw has won me over, and all it took were some free stickers, whitty words, great price, and snappy delivery. Guess I'm easy like that.I got this pack to replace the 55 L North Face "kid" pack I've had for a few years now, which served me well but didnt have nearly enough pockets for all the random knick-knacks I apparently bring while I backpack. This Osprey pack has not presented these same problems for me. There are pockets galore, well adjustable waist and back straps, and straps/clips for a sleeping bag at the bottom. Add a lifetime gaurentee and I don't plan on buying another backpack for an age or two. Can't wait to hike through Alaska with this puppy.

This pack is great, especially for the price!

I originally bought a different pack online from Moosejaw but when I went into the store for help fitting it, they basically told me the pack wouldn't work for me at all. Long story short, don't just order the cheapest one online, try stuff on! They let me exchange it for this pack which ended up being a perfect fit for me and is a great quality without costing me a ton. Thanks Moosejaw for another great product and store experience!
