I love this bag. It is spacious, and light weight. Bought to replace n aging Eddie Bauer bag that is closer to 60 l and sometimes it just wouldn’t fit quite everything. Should be able to get everything in this with room to spare.The material is rigged looking, and love the waterproof/ resistant zipper covers. Love the hard bottom, which allows it to stand alone ( other bag kept tipping). It does mean the bag is not quite as collapsible as my old favorite - one end is rigid, even if only 2/3 full, but overall, prefer the stability. We also disagree with the earlier reviewers. This is the strongest bag we have had. It's gone on many travels - including the rough and tough of artic travels, ice, grit, wet etc. It has held up brilliantly. Dont even think it "marks" too badly either - a bit scuffed but seriously not bad at all.

So glad I grabbed this bag. I initially bought a suitcase for another extended trip that I did. The wheel broke off so I figured I should probably grab something more durable. Haven’t had issues with a transporter 40 bag I have that I’ve checked numerous times so I figured I would give this a go. So far, so good. Used it for a month, constantly opening it and moving it between hotels, and checking it on multiple flights and buses. Pretty much living out of it. Only thing that I can say that I don’t like about it is that the fabric doesn’t seem as durable as my old transporter. It feels thinner and seems to get marred more easily. I bought this about a month ago, and took it to the mountains of NC for a hiking trip. I love that it is waterproof, rolls easily, is spacious for the look of it and can fit in an overhead bin on a plane. The one negative is the handle, you have to pay attention when you retract it, the first time it gave me a wicked blood blister. But it only happened once. I love Osprey, they make quality products. I got this to replace my 3 year old Granite Gear carry on bag as it was falling apart. I'm tough on bags, I travel 300 days a year for work, they are thrown around in planes and trucks. I wants a bag that has sturdy wheels, good solid fabric that would hold up to the elements and travel. So far I am loving the bag. I hope it lasts for more than 3 years.
We have a North Face Rolling Thunder (30") and were looking for a second one for an upcoming trip. This Osprey Wheeled Duffel came up for sale and reviews on this bag looked really good (maybe slightly better than the rolling thunder?) so we went for it. Haven't had it long enough to do a true comparison yet. However here are some of the differences I see so far which give an edge to the Osprey. The large zipper is covered with a flap which would prevent any water leakage issues if it gets wet. The large flap also has clips to keep it in place. The biggest difference for me is that the North Face has this internal stabilizing rod that keeps popping out of place on one side of the bag we have. Bought this for a trip to europe in a couple months. I would like to take my RTIC duffle but needed something with wheels. The construction of this duffle is decent - the seams are sown, not welded and the material seems much less durable than the RTIC. That might be because osprey is using recycled materials. Great in theory but will it last? My 10 year old RTICs have survived blizzards, rain, dust, sand and haboobs in the back of my truck, while keeping everything clean and dry inside. we'll see how this does. At least it has a good warranty.
I bought this bag recently and it hasn't survived it's first trip. The Tpu coating seems to have zero abrasion resistance and has been shredded in several places after going through airport baggage handling. On its second run through airport baggage handling (my trip home) the bag came back with two holes and even more damage to the tpu coating.My partner has a waterproof duffle from a different company that completed the journey unharmed (as it always does). So unless my bag suffered some serious baggage handling accidents in each direction that didn't affect any other luggage, the material is simply not up to the job. I have made an almighty guarantee claim and asked for a refund. Hoping to get this resolved soon.
I'm so impressed with my 90L Transporter I'm about to buy another one. The big wheels make a huge difference when you're dragging it over rough ground. We did a trip through the Australian Outback with it strapped to the top of a trailer through bull dust...not a problem, everything inside was dust free! It has also been exposed to snow and rain without any problems. The finish does take on that patina of use without affecting the performance which I don't mind.
I bought one of these 4.5 years ago, as like previous reviewers I needed a durable travel bag (I'm a professional mountain guide, so my kit gets used all over the world, year round and takes a massive beating). After approx 40 trips it's still going strong - yes, it's covered in scuffs (the fabric does mark easily), but there are no abrasion holes on any of the corners/exposed areas and it's stood up to a huge amount of abuse - being dragged through the snow, strapped onto pack animals and it fell off the roof of a moving vehicle at one point, but protected my kit. In summary - yes the fabric marks easily, so if that bothers you then look elsewhere - but in terms of actual durability, this is the best wheeled travel bag I've ever owned by a country mile.
I love this bag. You can pack a lot of gear in it. It appears extremely durable and the larger wheels make it very easy to cart around on any terrain. The hard plastic end is well designed, as you just simply stand the bag up without fear of it falling down. Great product and worth spending the money on
