I bought a Sienna doll at the store last year for my daughter's 7th birthday. She had been asking for an 18-inch doll for months; wasn't content with baby or toddler dolls anymore. I wanted a doll that would look like her, with brown hair and eyes, and Sienna was picked over the other Our Generation doll that also fit the bill because the darker skin tone was like my daughter's. The hair is layered, so a bit uneven at the bottom, but easy enough to experiment with styling because her hair is long, and silky to touch. My daughter made simple fleece blankets for her 2 dolls (she got Rafael for her birthday this year), and she is looking forward to starting to hand-stitch more accessories and clothes for them. So her creativity is well-inspired.

Wow! I cannot believe how nice this doll is for the price. My 3 year old got it for Christmas, and she loves it. I will probably wait until she's a little older to get her more, since she's not great at taking care of nicer dolls yet. She already tangled the hair up a lot but I was able to brush it and put it in braids. I love how many varieties there are, and that all the accessories are affordable.

My daughter just turned 4 and we bought her 2 Our Generation dolls for her birthday. She loves them and they seem very well made. My only complaint, and this isn’t the only brand I’ve seen this issue with, is the hair. I just do not understand why doll hair these days looks like a 3 yr old got a hold of it with scissors. Both dolls had the same issue so I know it’s not just a defect. I can’t imagine it is that hard to cut a straight line across the bottom.

Beautiful doll. Comes with the clothes you see in pic. The headband is attached and needs to have the plastic bits cut off to remove headband.We chose this doll as it is my daughters name

I love the doll she is super cute! I bought her for my daughter for Christmas however I didn’t love the choppy length of her hair. It is very uneven like a child cut it. Other then that I like her so we will keep her but wish the hair was better
I had a short moment of panic when I opened my UPS boxes and found how this was packaged. It isn't packaged like the other dolls (which is why I'm only giving it 4 stars. I kind of screwed up my plans for how Santa was going to leave these for my girls and gave me a heart attack that I'd spent $16 for an outfit and not a doll). The other dolls come in a "showcasing" package where you can see the actual doll. Sienna comes in a smaller completely enclosed box. However, once you get over that, you find she is packaged nice and tight and looks nice and fresh once you pull her out. Awesome quality of construction. My girls will be super excited on Christmas morning, that's for sure.
This is our fourth OG doll. our third one was the ice skater that we purchased specifically for the story and similarly in looks to our daughter who plays very nicely with the dolls..she isn't rough. her birthday was last weekend and she received this doll from a dear friend. in one week I've noticed HUGE bald spots on her head. Especially in the front. What is going on? The first two OG dolls we purchased never had hair issues. and these two in the span of six months and two dolls with huge hair issues. That makes me sad for my daughter and sad for this line of dolls.
I was deciding between an american girl doll or an our generation doll when I found sienna and she was perfect especialy when you consider the huge price difference. Her hair is incredibley soft too! she's an amazing doll and I would totaly recommend
I bought this for our daughter as a gift for her 6 year birthday. The doll looks exactly like the picture. She bends at her shoulder and hip joints so you can position her to sit. She measures slightly thicker in the waist than the American Girl does. I make the clothes anyway so I just adjusted the patterns a smidge. Her eyes do close when laid down which my daughter loves! She "tucks her in" every night before bed. My daughter loves playing with her and takes very good care of her. Her hair needed a bit evening out but I just gave it a slight trim. It was long, just a tiny bit shaggy on the bottom. Brushes well though. My sweetie loves to do her hair. Her scalp under the hair plugs is the same color as her hair.
