Awesome product that didn't quite work for us long term

I will say it tended to slip off his back end after some time, but again, he has quite the arch in his back which I contributed to this. Eventually, however, was able to wiggle it down and ended up peeing on the floor with it still on his hips, but off his privates. So, truthfully, it wasn't the perfect fit for us, but I felt like the product was great and would work great for a pet that had less curvature or maybe a little more fur to hold it in place (our poor guy has had a rough few months and had to be shaved).

I thought I would give these a try ! I did because I have two boys who vary in size a little & the other brand I have been using causes me to buy 2 different sizes. These ones basically covered both their sizes !I received them, my first impression was "WOW THESE EVEN LOOK CHEAP " & after pulling one out " THEY EVEN FEEL CHEAP " the outside is a thin plastic, instead of the other brand I normally use which is a very soft type backing ! I placed one on each of my boys & yes I could use this one to combine both sizes but, still the sizing is far off ! It wrapped around my CHORKIE 2 times ! My other boy is a Hairless Chinese Crested & I just don't want this plastic material up around his skin ! Lesson learned saving very little space, is far less improvement to me, than the comfort & skin of my two boys !Thank goodness Chewy allows me to cancel my auto ship !By the way these didn't moisture wick the urine away either like the other ones that I use ! When I removed my Chorkie's band, his underbelly was wet !So that alone, would have had me changing for sure ! Hope this helps someone out there, who may be thinking of trying or switching to these !

These are great! They are so cute, the print pattern makes it look like my little dog Toby has boxer shorts on. They have saved many a cleanup, especially since he tends to walk back and forth and can spread a puddle from the front door to the back door. The night I spent washing the floors in three rooms, twice between 2 am and 4 am, convinced me that we need these at night. I unfold the edges of the outside wrapper to make sure ALL of the velcro rectangle is exposed for clinging, and then tuck the edges back in once the wrap is in place. Have never had a problem with it not holding, even after several re-uses when the wrap had not been peed into. I also check to make sure all of the crucial part of Toby is covered by the wrap and have only very rarely had a minor ... MoreThese are great! My little guy did manage to walk out of it once as he tends to walk in circles and brush the back of the recliner. So now for overnight, I wrap a piece of soft fleece fabric in a suspender-like fashion to prevent that from happening. In fact, I've had much better results with no leaks and a softer more comfortable wearable feel than I did with actual baby diapers when my kids were babies. Thank you for a good product!

Needs a little prep to make it work.
29 August 2021

The use intructions are vague, just a couple of sentences, no pictorial diagrams, no photos. Even the two steps (vaguely) described on the Out! website are unhelpful. So, some pointers for prospectve purchasers: 1) Measure your dogs belly, and if the measurement is within two inches of the max fit listed on the package, go to the next larger size as the pads do not stretch length-wise; 2) Unroll the pad, free-up the sticky tab at one end, flatten the other end, because these are not already unstuck nor flat right out of the package; 3) Unfold the edges away from the pad, otherwise the absorbent edges will not be sealed against the dog belly; 4) With the abdorbent pad down, press the entire length and the edges onto a CLEAN flat surface (tabletop, counter top, etc.), ... MoreThe use intructions are vague, just a couple of sentences, no pictorial diagrams, no photos. Sounds complicated but it really is not, it is just tedious. After two or three times you will get the hang of it.

Not Mediums
21 April 2023

Bought these because my regular brand is out of stock. These are much larger than a normal medium. Probably should get a small if your dog is normally on the smaller side of medium. The velcro sticking section is way too small. I literally have to duck tape these on and then cut off. They absorb ok. But the plastic outer lining means velcro won't stick so they are not very adjustable and that they don't breathe as well as my normal ones. This isn't Chewys fault, just be aware of the sizing issues & have some duck tape & scissors handy

Our Buddy wears these like a CHAMP!
22 February 2022

We bought these for my 83yo mom's rescue dog, Buddy. He is about 6 and was listed as NOT HOUSEBROKEN. We didn't know his history but took a chance and learned that he was more a leg hiker to mark than not knowing when to go outside. When he was found by the rescue, he had a urine soaked male wrap on. It had been on for a long time. : ( His butt fur was covered in feces and he was a dirty mess. Maybe he escaped his house, but no chip. Or maybe he was let go due to the wrap situation. Either way, we tried the cloth wraps and although they worked decently, it was difficult for my mom's dexterity to put them on and off. He really does wear these like a champ...like he knows it's part of him. As soon as he comes in from outside, he jumps up on the ottoman and waits for it to be put on. I think we are very luck! Also, they do not leak but he's only 10 lbs.

Small dog perfect male wrap. I've bought hundreds.
30 September 2023

These cover my male POM when urinating the best. The hold enough volume. The Velcro stuff stays closed. I have ordered a few hundred from different places, but have ended up at Wal-Mart solely buying these, past couple years due to good pricing and free shipping, as I am disabled now %26 hauling less back from stores is better.

My sweet Beau was diagnosed with diabetes and high blood pressure 4 years ago when he was 9. At 13 now, despite multiple surgeries he is totally blind. Until recently he always let me know when he had to out and could hold it but we're nearing the end now and I've been dealing with surprise puddles on a frequent basis.I resisted trying diapers because I know the original fabric belly bands tend to leak. These are awesome. As soon as they came today I put one on him (was worried at first that it was too small...got it to fit but tightly). They work better than I thought!
20 April 2022

When I saw these, I wasn't fully getting how they work. They are actually kind of like a baby diaper in that one side sticks to the other. Wrap it around your dog and use the "tape" (it's really more like velcro) to attach it. Because of this, even smaller dogs like my Minpin can wear this extra small size - even though his measurement is smaller than recommended. It works fine. Do they stay on with two other labradors in the house? Not forever, but they do better than I would have thought. I'm satisfied with them.

Velcro type closure strip fell off!
7 March 2019

I have no idea why this happened because I've ordered them before and they were fine, but this time the strip that holds the two ends together just fell off. It's supposed to be repositionable so that when your dog goes outside you can take the diaper off and then put it back on him when he comes inside but it seemed like the second time I tried to use it that strip just fell off. Actually on a couple of them and fell off the first time. Now it may have been because the product froze in the extreme cold. That was when we had 23 degree below zero nights but the fact is it still happened and they were of no use to me. I opened the second pack because I thought well this is a new pack and certainly it wouldn't happen again but the same thing happened. I realize it's too late to send them back but I wanted everybody to know that this is a possibility. If it happened to me certainly it had to happen to a lot of other people who ordered them at the same time. And the possibility exists that it had nothing to do with the weather. I was liking these male wraps until this happened. Also I tried to use tape to secure the ends together and maybe clear packaging tape would have worked but duct tape did not stick well enough to hold the two sides together. I have never seen anything that duct tape didn't work on LOL but it really didn't work on this. I would find a puddle of pee in the house and the diaper with the duct tape.. would be sitting squarely in the middle of it. So I was not happy. I gave it two stars because in the past they were good, but this time I ordered three packages. What a huge disappointment and waste of money!
