Hi I’m condsidering either BW 240 with additional side walls with windows or the Outdoor connection weekender with side walls ,, which would be better for ventilation and overall set up. The BW 240 can also have option of front wall panels as well. Cant decide which tent for QLD conditions

Very happy to have bought two of these to extend the covered area outside the tent. The two I received have identical design: the orientation of the Velcro/grommet/etc with respect to the underside were both the same. This is perfect for for one side of the awning, but sub-optimal for the other (e.g. if you put the top of the awning pole through the grommet, the taped seams are not on the underside, which means they are exposed to the elements). I have chosen to attach both so that the taped seems are on the underside - which you can do because there is velcro on both sides - but it seems a shame that because of this the grommet is not used on one of the walls.

It definately adds that extra outdoor space if you need to put a table and chairs or a clothes horse under it. I like how the awning velcro attached to the back or front doors. But apart from three designated holes on the opposite side of the velcro for the awning poles or guy ropes you can't actually use the awning in any particular way you like. Saying that you just make do. The quality was surprisingly very thin and when the dew was on it, it would just go through. That was disappointing.
Easy to install, lightweight option for a side wall. We bought 2 of the them to accommodate for wet weather days by extending the lounge section of our tent.
Great addition for sun and rain protection. Had my Bedara tent for almost 10 years; can’t believe I’ve only just purchased the side awning
We bought this to provide a shady spot to our Bedarra tent. Connects to the tent using a velcro strip. Easy to install. It worked really well. We are considering buying a second for the other side.
We purchased 2 of these side walls to add to our Outdoor Connections-'Heron' tent. So glad we did!This gave us a wall for privacy at one side of our tent extended the front awning (doubled) for extra shade/rain protection on the other side.Ordering was easy, delivery super fast and great customer service.

Purchased one side awning for our "heron" tent, loved it then purchased another. We've since upgraded firstly to camper trailer, and now a small van. Sold the tent, but kept the awning side walls. Still use them - attach to gazebo for extra shade, from caravan awning, emergency tarp, etc. Very compact & lightweight to keep "just-in-case"!
