These were exactly what I was looking for. I do wish there was a smaller size, but these can fit over warm mitts or be worn on their own. They keep my hands dry while hiking with poles and that makes all the difference for a happy hike. Super light and pack up so small it barely makes a difference to my ruck weight.

Lightweight, reasonably weatherproof. Used them once so far, in rain, wind 20 mph, temps in 30s. Kept my hands warm while hiking, would have been very uncomfortable without them. Very happy so far, will see how durable they are; should be good for hiking.

Just back from Great Divide Trail. Bought these rain mits hoping to keep hands warm and dry on cold, wet days. While they did reduce the chill by cutting the wind they werent dry at all - presumably because cuffs are much to short to stay tucked behind cuffs of my OR Helium raincoat. I even added an "idiot string" to the handy loops to try and keep the cuffs from collecting rainwater but... no luck. Hey OR how about adding a couple more inches of cuff in tje next run?

They are awesome! Super lightweight, and waterproof. They work good keeping the wind off your hands when it’s cold too. Awesome, totally awesome!
I hoped these would do the job, and they do! I have a problem with cold hands and feet, so keeping my hands dry is vital. I tested them on a warmer (60s) day, to avoid getting in trouble if they did not work, but they kept my hands dry as a bone in driving rain for several hours, so as far as I'm concerned, it's a win! I will wear them over my warm mittens this winter.
These rain mitts are perfectly cut & the shape feels great on my trekking poles. Same quality as my Helium Rain Jacket! Seam taped and have a tab to pull them on. Only thing possibly needed would be a velcro strap on wrist but then again the cuffs go under your jackets cuffs so maybe not! Happy with my purchase
These mitts saved me from the sudden wet squall when we were out in the mountains...I layered them over a thin pair of liners and my fingers came back to life for the hike back to the car. Awesome for a minimalist, or for anyone that wants to be prepared in the backcountry.
These are so light and pack away small enough to keep in my running vest all the time. Perfect for windy days, snowy and rainy runs & hikes. I had thought about getting gloves with built in mitts that fold away but I love that I can use these over almost any of my gloves
Too small to fit as over glove. Should have elastic to close wrist- small and sloppy fit? Part of running/hiking kit but not a very good design- surprised by their short fall- still do what I need
They seem to work just fine, I keep them in my running pack for cold windy days where I only have a light pair. They haven't seen any heavy rain yet. But they are super light and packable. A good add to any day pack for just in case.
