Outward Hound Invincibles Snake Dog Toy Orange/Blue

This toy only lasted a matter of minutes!! Don’t get me wrong he had a fantastic time with it but all 3 squeakers where done and the material was busted. Now he is heart broken. I will say that outward hound has amazing customer service and they are sending out squeaky ball from their planet collection. This is the look of heartbreak when he knew momma was coming to take it away after he busted it.

Best money ever spent

This is probably the 5th snake I have bought - 2 very destructive dogs at home (now on to their 3rd snake in 5 years), one for a pressy for Mums destructive dog, one for a friend's dog. All dogs love them. My dogs try so hard to destroy these but they are still going pretty darn well, squeakers still work, just faded from being left out on the lawn and shabby a bit only because the akita takes it everywhere. These really are amazing, I usually buy double the length snake so this is the shortest, however it is the same amazing quality.

Dog loves it but not so indestructible

After cutting off a lot of tags that said indestructible I gave it to our ridgeback pup. Took her about 15minutes to make a hole. I was able to repair with a sewing machine and she loves it heaps but perhaps it's not well designed for larger dogs. I know ours destroys a lot but I thought it would last longer. On the upside it's still together with my sewing.

Great for very young pups

This toy was recommended by a trainer at puppy class. It was an excellent diversion when our pup was 4 months young and all throughout the time he was teething/play biting and learning how to play with humans. It allowed us to still play with him within a safe distance not getting nipped by his very sharp teeth while teaching him at the same time which items or toys are acceptable to bite. The toy was durable and it lasted for several months. Our boy is 2 years old now, only on his second snake, and still likes to play with it making sounds like a musical genius.

Invincible??

We have a Jack Russell who loves to chew and strip things apart, so that's exactly what he did to this within an hour or two. However, like others have said, he had a great time shaking and running around with the remaining carcass which has lasted almost a year now, it's just not very pleasant to look at anymore haha. So although I question whether it's invincible for dogs that like to destroy, ours still has a great time with it!

Not a Chew toy! Lasted 1 year

I got this toy to engage play with my dog last Christmas. It has been a year and it is time to replace it. This is a great tuggle war toy to play with your dog. I have read the lower star reviews and agree totally! This toy cannot handle a dog sitting and chewing on it. That’s what rawhide and antler bone is for, not a fabric toys! I play fetch and tuggle war with this toy. When he is done, the snake gets put up and swapped for an antler bone. Yes, the squeakers are out. He loves playing with this toy and knows it by name “get the snake”. I insist you give this toy (and your dog) another 10-15 minute try. When the time is up, swap it for a chew toy. Don’t leave the snake out! Dogs teeth are like scissors and will shred it! You won’t regret it.

Not for destructive dogs

First our dog is a chewer. And so although it lasted a day he went about skinning it and then removing the squeakers and now plays with the remaining carcass. For a dog that loves to toss toys around and have a good squeak this is truely a good toy.

One Squeaky Snake!!

Our Aussie Mia is in squeaky toy euphoria with this thing. She runs around dragging it behind her squeaking it in cadence with her gait... sometimes the cat even gets in on the action by pouncing on it from a point of ambush as the dog drags it by... I think I get as much entertainment from it as they do. It's been a couple of months now and it is still in surprisingly very good condition as my Mia usually has removed the squeakers from her toys by now. It's either very tough or she can't decide on which one of the six squeakers to focus on. I highly recommend this toy as it will be as much fun for the pet owner as the pet ...

Pretty tough, 1 week in so far so good!

We have a very destructive chewer; he's a big dog as well so he's also strong. Most toys last MAYBE an hour if we're lucky. We're a week in with this and it's still intact. He loves the squeakers and they play tug of war together and yet both the two that we bought are still hanging in there. I did have to sew a one inch section of the seam near the tag but other than that, they're completely intact, squeakers are still working and they're being played with all day every day. Definitely recommend, and we'll be buying these again, and probably the longer version as well. So happy to have found softer toys that last!

This is NOT invincible

False advertising. I gave this to my dog and it didn’t last 10 minutes. Says on the product tag super durable material to create a powerful protective shield. And can stand up to the toughest chewers. I contacted the manufacturer and they said the squeaker is durable and denied its invincibility. Should be ZERO stars.
