Owala has solidly stolen all of my business for future water bottle needs. I love that they are leakproof when closed. That was a major point for us!! I love that my children can open them without touching the spout and can safely tuck the spout away from classroom germs, when not in use. I love that my children can see how much water they have drank and how much water they still have to drink to meet their daily goal. I love everything about this water bottle!! Each of my 5 children have 2 and I bought my husband and I some with the Å“gulp or sip spouts. Love Owala and will continue to return for more. I was pleasantly surprised to see these at our local Walmart in the sporting goods, too!

From the moment I opened the box till now, 60 days later, I cannot stop RAVING about this water bottle. I love the because the straw is covered. Working in medicine in a COVID world has me a bit (a lot) germophobic and this is a great balance. bonus. Drinks stay cold and I can hit my daily water goals. I tell EVERYONE about this bottle. The witty packaging also is a bonus.My husband has stated on multiple occasions that I need to be a brand rep and reminds people that these are unpaid endorsements !! Hahaha!

Found Owala during early Covid quarantine when they were offering a discount for healthcare workers. I got myself a stainless steel 32 oz in Shy Marshmallow. I loved it immediately! Keeps my water so cold and the straw gives you the perfect amount with each sip. I bought my husband one and he uses it everyday too. I was lucky enough to snag a FREE bottle during the Owala birthday deal so now my son can have his own! The site was a bit laggy during the whole transaction and it did crash during the final step reviewing all my information, but I did receive an email confirmation that the transaction went through. Even if I didn't get a free one, I would still take advantage of their BOGO deal!

Honestly, I got this water bottle for a steal at Walmart for only $1.00. I was so excited as almost anyone would be for a bottle at that price. I also absolutely love the color and style of the bottle. I also loved the lock feature, so my bottle wouldn't accidentally open. However, the flaws of this bottle is that water spews out of the spout when you open it sometimes. This caused so many unexpected messes! I also found the lid of the bottle difficult to clean, and I had to ultimately throw it out because it had mold that couldn't be cleaned out of the tight spaces in the lid.* disclaimer * I had the plastic bottle, not the stainless steel one.

It honestly makes drinking water so much more fun - the sippy cup inspired tuck away straw is genius. I am a huge owala fan and my 6 year old and I have about 20 free sips between the two of us. So when I saw a Å“kids cup that my 2 year old could use I was excited! The design of the cup is great. The ease of the flip top is perfect for her hands to use and I love the locking feature so it doesn t accidentally open BUT it leaks. Actually not leaks it pours out the top. Kids cups should always be made so that they won t spill since kids mostly just drop things and fall down. Even if you just jostle the cup, a steady stream cups spouting out of it. So unfortunately it gets no use at my house and I am truly sad about that.
The rubber seal will not come out making it impossible to clean well. I frequently washed and often battled mold in the lid. Only ever had water in it as well. Bummer because the bottles are cute but worry about what the underseal looks like.
We've been using Owala stainless steel water bottles for a few years now and I am happy to see the different sizes more readily available now. My 7 year old daughter loves her new 16 oz water bottle because it is super cute, but also keeps her water cold all day long, even in the hot car this summer :-) I feel good about this because I don't have to worry about the plastic stuff leaching into their bottles when they get hot during the summer.
I wanted to love this water bottle so badly, but I cant. My first issue is that about half of the time when I open the bottle, water pours out of the top. I am a healthcare worker, and I have had water or juice pour all over my scrubs more times than I can count due to this water bottle!! I contacted customer service, and they explained that this is a pressure issue, and that the "fix" is the untwist and open the bottle prior to opening the top. I run outside and commute to work by foot -- I wanted to keep the bottle on me for hot day and quickly pop open the top for a drink. However, customer service is saying that prior to each sip, I need to untwist the top, let the pressure out, retwist it on, and then open the straw/top.
