In the 7 months we have had it, the camera is useless and doesn't work half the time despite being on NBN and the router being in the nursery. The base station to monitor doesn't connect most of the time either. IF (IF!!!) The support team bother to answer, they terminate the chat half way through and the best recommendations they have are reset the app or reinstall it, or resync the camera (which is really convenient at 3am)

I had been extremely concerned about SIDS and couldn’t relax once bub had gone to bed (which meant I wasn’t sleeping myself), and our paediatrician recommended the Owlet. It has been a lifesaver for my mental health - we pop it on when bub goes to bed, and I can relax knowing that they are safe. It’s easy to use, the alarm isn’t overwhelming (is to a nursery rhyme), and we haven’t had many false alarms. Bub is 6 months old now and sleeps in a sleep sack, so we’ve not yet had instances of them taking it off themselves. I would recommend this product to anyone with a baby - I love it!

Please, double-check that the Owlet sock is compatible with your wifi network before purchasing! We knew the sock does not support 5Ghz, but we have a double router and also a 2.4Ghz network available, so we were confident it would work. Well, no matter how hard we tried, the Owlet base would not recognize our 2.4Ghz network. We tried all the troubleshooting online, tried and connecting from the router IP address, changed setting to our wifi, to no avail. We contacted customer support a couple of times. At the end, they said it is a problem of our router manufacturer and referred us to them. Well, it is not the case, as we found online several reviews of people complaining for the same issue, with several dual routers. We'll need to return the product and ask for a ... The owlet sock 3 is an excellent product. It works so well and gives great piece of mind for your sleeping baby. The app it works with on your phone gives great data in both real time a s graph form for review.
Loved that I could buy the Owlet through a trusted Australian brand, and was a lot cheaper with the sale than purchasing straight from Owlet!
This product works amazing. I found since getting it we have been able to sleep better at night knowing our little one was safe.
This product is very reassuring especially being a first time mum. Having the smart sock that allows you to monitor your baby throughout the night.
